SWOT ANALYSIS – Part 1 1. Strength : Emphasized teamwork, collaboration, and respecting the opinions of friends and colleagues even if it is dissenting. 2. Weaknesses : Too much emphasis on race, gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation that demotivates the people reading the survey. 3. Opportunities : There is an opportunity for teamwork, there is the possibility to diversify the perspective and innovate new things through teamwork. 4. Threats : Too much emphasis on race, gender, and ethnicity can hamper the team resulting in conflict and bias. SWOT Analysis – Part 2 1. Strength : Focused on addressing the confronting biases and valued environment, I know my worth and create innovative ideas to jumpstart with. Self-care is being prioritized as it helps to reduce biases. Finally, I am challenged by new podcasts and documentaries and I am a part of the mentor program. 2. Weaknesses : If the employee is not working in a senior designation, then the opinion is invalid. Also, I am neutral on being personally uncomfortable in damaging situations, and being unable to speak up is a drawback. 3. Opportunities : There is an opportunity to challenge my viewpoint against the opinions of others and constantly learn and expand my perspective; be a part of the community organization or club to enhance courage and even if I am not a senior employee of the organization, I know my worth and often look for innovation. 4. Threats : There is too much emphasis on personal challenges and biases. Also, putting work on priority than self-care is a threat to the individual’s point of view. This is because the individual should look after themselves first in the form of rest and healthy food which will enable them to work Action plan. What will you do next time a similar situation arrives? What do you need to learn? How might you learn it? Smart Action Plan 1 : Emphasize collaboration and better decision-making through teamwork Specific : The objective will be to create an inclusive team that will help to make better decisions Measurable : It will be measurable based on the work results and check regularly with the team members Achievable : Each member of the team should be allocated specific roles and responsibilities that are connected to the common goal. Relevant : The team’s relevancy can be evaluated based on providing training and learning opportunities to the team members. It will promote activities that will help to boost the team's morale. Time-Bound : The time for conducting this activity will be one month. All activities such as training, team collaboration, and decision-making will help to achieve the goal within the scheduled timeline.

Smart Action Plan 2 : I will address the biases and try to mitigate them Specific : Identify the events or circumstances that are resulting in conflict due to biases Measurable : The measurement can be done by meeting with parties to the conflict and evaluating their attitudes. Achievable : There should be rules set for the meeting and brainstorming the solutions collaboratively to mitigate biases and conflict. Relevant : There should be close monitoring of the parties involved in the conflict and check their productivity. Time-Bound : The entire work should be completed within a week.
