2 Modular 3 Case Study The conflicting issue is the survival of the agency. Agency survival is a top-notch concern since the healthcare organization's Executive Director should support its survival to promote the customers' interests. However, financial commitments pose a barrier to the organization's sustainability. The director is in a predicament since she is motivated to discover methods of advocating organization funds. However, there is a dilemma since most grant providers have moved their attention to medical and punitive techniques from therapeutic approaches. Additionally, imaginative grant writing is also a vital difficulty for the executive director to increase the welfare of the healthcare institution. The director is in difficulty constructing captivating, innovative grant writing to increase the grant providers' involvement in the healthcare financial well-being. Utilitarianism theory is a moral philosophy that encourages acts that cause pleasure or happiness to produce a peaceful and healthy society ( Hilsenrath & Borders, 2020). It is oriented toward developing a decent and positive society where all people grow happily. Based on this idea, Lori should examine the repercussions of her actions based on the agency's existence and creative grant writing dispute to explain her actions or choices. Her acts or choices should generate the greatest enjoyment for the majority of persons, her clientele. Additionally, Kantian Theory is a moral theory credited to Kant that suggests that a decision's or an action's morality is reliant on the doer's motive ( O'Brien, 2022). It is attracted to the people's goodness in making certain decisions in their day-to-day activities instead of the persons' repercussions. Kant reinstates the essence of moral law and believes that human beings should respect it in their acts or choices. He advocates moral law as the cornerstone of human freedom ( O'Brien, 2022). Also, Kant advocates universalizability to guarantee that worthy acts' application to all persons is clear of any conflict. Based on the situation, Lori should analyze her aims in the agency's survival and innovative grant writing debate for the

3 morality of her acts. Her activities should conform to absolute benevolence to justify her choices or decisions. Lori could consider generating an appealing and efficient creative grant writing to advocate the healthcare center funds from the grant providers. It is a valid technique for supporting organizational survival during financial constraints. Besides, in creative grant writing, the report might be tailored to lean to the medical strategy championed by the grant givers instead of the therapeutic approach. This method is defensible based on utilitarianism, which advocates for the greatest pleasure for the most or maximum persons. The plan would allow the healthcare organization to acquire money from the fund providers as it would match the criteria required for financing ( Hewett et al., 2018). Also, it would receive the required financial resources needed to offer care to the people promoting their health welfare. Most persons would profit from the financing owing to the excellent healthcare services linked to the best satisfaction for most individuals. Consequently, this line of action coincides with the SLU values, for instance, the community that asks for the people's dedication towards delivering excellent service to others for their emotional and social wellness. Also, it fits with compassion since the decision would allow the health center to receive resources to finance medical assistance for the welfare of varied clientele, notable persons in addiction rehabilitation. An alternative approach would be to advocate for social justice and people's well-being in line with the Ethical Standards for Human Services Professionals, for example ( Wark, 2021). The grant providers would pay for the healthcare activities, therefore giving good services to all the people, particularly the underprivileged sections in the communities. Besides, it is also conversant with authenticity, and objective principles as the healthcare docket are substantially crucial for the benefit of the customers owing to social, emotional, economic, and physical issues caused by addiction.
