2 Career Goals and Lifelong Timelines Job Identifications For the next 5 to 10 years, I would like to be a product quality engineer as my dream job. I have made this choice because it is not only interesting and challenging to me. I have decided to go to this line of work as innovations have taken place across wide range of industries dominated by advanced technologies. The quality is also changing because of these improvements and quality engineer will be having a difficult time when adapting the new career. I have always envisioned myself working in a setting like this, and my goal is to land this position within the next 5 to 10 years. Educations and Certifications To qualify as a quality product engineer an individual needs to have bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other science related are. An individual applying for this position is required to have a prior experience in this field. Analytical, leadership, communication and teamwork skills are major competencies that are needed for this position. A product quality engineer requires the following certificates, Certified Quality Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt, Master Certified Electronics Technician Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Manager Of Quality, And Lead Auditor. Completion of these certification programs is an added advantage to all applicants in this position (Zippia, 2021). Timeline to Obtain the Credentials The projected times for receiving the necessary credentials are listed below. There are certain activities engaged in this process. The actions and accompanying timelines are displayed in this timeline plan. The timeframe is broken down for every six months for each certificate.

The employment opportunities that are going to be made available by different business organizations are going to be very different from one another.
