What are the key components of an effective meeting? Why are meetings important for developing strategies that meet goals and objectives? 2 hours ¨ Practical activity Conduct SWOT analysis on an existing organisation. Create a visual presentation on your findings. Now use the following to prompt: Strengths: What is company good at? Weaknesses: What isn’t the company good at? Opportunity: What are some of the big opportunities available for the company? Usability: Is the solution easy to implement and can it be used interchangeably for other problems? Threats: What may be potentially harmful for the company in the future? 4 hours ¨ Research Research an organisation and identify the long-term vision and mission. Research how the organisational values support these and write notes outlining the organisational background. 3 hours ¨ Review Review your assessment requirements for this unit and read through your Project Portfolio so you know what you will be required to do.
