Business 2 Introduction While rendering services as a HR Manager of Hi-Value Brokerage firm situated in Alberta. The to management has asked for a policy that how the work can be effectively be carried out in the this period of pandemic. COVID-19 has affected many sectors altogether. The major which stood out for Hi- value brokerage firm and its employees is Work From Home. The problem arose is that the top management notion about employees is that employees are not working efficiently and on the other hand employees were struggling between their home and office life. So after viewing, analyzing the situation , supervisior thought to assess the situation and provide the support and guidance to each and every employee working in the firm. For this purpose , work from policy is needed to me legislated and a training program concerning the issue needs to be formulated. This will prove helpful to adjust to the new working style for employees according to top management. Thus I formulated a new strategy which includes Video presentation, GDI round and online lectures which will motivate employees and increase their confidence ,ability, morale and specialization. ( Billett, 2020)

Business 3 Strategies that might be used before, during and after training to facilitate the transfer of learning Before: Clear analysis of training needs must be done. Purpose of training must be identified By using the best delievery method just-in-time learning Meeting must be done with the learners. ( Egloffstein & Ifenthaler, 2017) During: “ what- is -available –for –me” such information must be clearly stated in the initiation only. Clutter must be eliminated and Contents in chunks must be priotize. For creation of associstions some prior knowledge must be gathered. For relevance establishment, instructional strategies must be use. Real life job roles must be aligned with content While course desingning eye must be on objectives of learning Programs must be drive to models ( Andrianova & Antonacopoulou, 2020) For improve motivation action plans must be provided and retained After: “Social learning’ must supplement the training Refresher courses must be provided with Follow – up- sessions must be arrange after the training For practices opportunities must be created ( Wall, et al., 2017) Evaluation of Program by using Kirkpatrick Model Kirkpatrick model is meant to be the best model for evaluation and analysis of Educational and training programs. It involves any training style which bcan be of formal or
Business 4 informal in nature. Four level criteria is used to determine aptitude. It is given by Dr. Donald Kirkpatrick in 1950. LEVEL 1 – Measures for Reaction LEVEL 2 – Understanding of Learners LEVEL3 – Measures for Behavior LEVEL4- Positive Impact of Training program The training program suggested for Hi-Value brokerage firm is evaluated on the Kirkpatrick Model. As the first step will render the information to the HR Department that whether the video presentations, GDI Round and online lectures are providing the beneficial information or not. Then the next step will help the HRD to understand the mindset of the learners. The following step will check that whether the learners are available to apply the knowledge to their work. 360 degree tool will be used as a feedback tool. The last step will check out results and deviations found will be solved. ( Mikkonen, et al., 2017) Potential Benefits of the Training Program: Reduction in supervision Performance and Productivity will be increased Work Processes will be uniformed Organizational Structure will be improved Morale will be Boosted Knowledge about Policies and Goals will be improved How the potential benefits of training Program can be measured By arranging Post-Training Quizzes Discussions which are one-to-one

Business 6 CONCLUSION: This report surrounds the training Policy of Hi – Value Brokerage Firm located in Alberta. The company is facing an issue as all other companies in the world too is facing an issue in the period of COVID-19. The employees of Hi- Value are working from home and the coordination between the top management and employees is not going well. For such reasons the HR Manager was directed by the Superiors to frame a effective Training policy. HR Manager also put effort and legislated various new techniques such as video presentation, online lectures and GDI round which proves to be useful. In this report the evaluation was carried out of the training policy by HR Manager. Strategies which can be used before, during and after the training sessions are discussed in this report. The evaluation of the Training Program will be done in accordance with the Kirkpatrick Model. Kirkpatrick Model is explained in this report and its all levels are also discussed. Lastly all the benefits derived from the training program is also explained and their thorough evaluation were also carried out.
