Assessment 3_ Group Presentation: Human Resources management in Amcor 3 Introduction “Human resource management” is a process of employing several people, compensating them, training them, improving policies that is relating to them and improving several strategies to retain them. This project generally consists of an effective presentation. This group presentation is generally done on human resource management of Amcor company. In addition, chosen human resource manager is Karen Schroeder (Amcor, 2022). This group presentation includes several kinds of students, as all group members have both non-technical and as well as technical skills (Linkedin, 2022). All group members have these two skills and as well as all students are generally master’s students. This group presentation has a specific structure, as it includes a specific research method, several specific research questions, gathering all pieces of information, and gathering all evidence to support a claim. Explanation of the structure of the presentation This group presentation has several objectives and branches as this presentation is totally done on organizing an interview with the human resource manager of Amcor. This overall discussion has been completed on a group presentation on human resource management as every group will get about thirty minutes for their presentation on human resource management. This group presentation has its first attribute of a significant research method, gathering of several data and pieces of information, several interview-related questions, evaluation of data and other objectives ( Lomanta & Upadhyayula, 2022). On the other hand, this group observation also includes a shred of significant evidence that supports all claims and this group presentation also includes about three text references and as well as three journal articles as key parts of shreds of evidence. For the successful completion of this project, it is very necessary to have the overall trust, belief and support of each other. Explanation of the research methods interviews and secondary data This overall research has principally been done on a basic interview of human resource manager of Amcor company. Here chosen research method is interviews and questionnaires. Conducting this group presentation, chosen human manager is Karen Schroeder, all group members use to take interview this manager and take data and information about the company’s present environment and company’s current changes due to Covid-19 situation ( Raneem et al. 2022). For collecting any primary data, a survey is the only way, as this survey can be separated into two greater categories such as an interview and as well as a questionnaire (Amcor, 2022). Here questionnaires generally occur as paper and pencil types of equipment that key respondents complete. In another word, interviews generally occur through the interviewer based on what any respondent says. This process helps to collect primary data, and for collecting secondary data, company’s website has been followed. The limitations of study There are several kinds of limitations to this study such as primary data collection through interviews and surveys are very time-consuming to gather data from company’s manager. In other words, Amcor is a developed organization and its human resource manager

Assessment 3_ Group Presentation: Human Resources management in Amcor 4 was not given sufficient time for conducting this research, as she did not effectively cooperate for giving sufficient data or information. On the other hand, it is very time-consuming to evaluate all data from manager's side. In other words, principal problem of this research is to primary data is not as authentic as secondary data, therefore this research is not free from any bias. In other words, conducting this interview provide less anonymity, which is a large concern for several respondents ( Hertling et al. 2022). On the other hand, Amcor as an Australian packaging company does not provide sufficient information and data on its official website about present situation of this company and its situation during Covid-19 pandemic situation. All these are the key limitations of conducting this research. Description of the research questions addressed in project This overall research has several kinds of questions which were conducted between Human Resource manager of Amcor company and groups of master’s students. Such as 1. How the roles of human resource managers have changed due to internal changes in company’s environment? 2. How the responsibility of human resource managers has changed due to internal changes such as organization’s policy about adaptation of technology in company’s environment? 3. How roles and responsibilities of human resource managers have changed due to external changes such as “ Corporate government policies ” in Amcor’s environment? 4. What kind of changes such as company’s sustainability agenda happened during Covid- 19 pandemic situation? 5. What kind of changes has been faced by Company's human resources managers for adopting technology within workplace? 6. How have human resource managers' roles and responsibility have affected by Covid-19 situation and advancement of technology? Information gathered to address the research questions Role of human resource managers has significantly changed due to internal changes in company’s environment. Because of changes in organizational internal environment workforce diversity increased within workplace, this workforce diversity includes differentiating of race, age, sex and as well as cultural norms of several employees (Linkedin, 2022). Amcor company generally give its key focus on several responsible “sourcing of materials” to make sure less disturbance of “natural habits and as well as protect biodiversity”. Human resource managers of this company generally develop learning processes and oversee learning activities like leadership training and technical training. Due to internal and external changes, human resource managers are used to ensuring “performance management” is equitable, and accurate and they provide several kinds of performance issues on a regular basis ( Hasegawa et al. 2022). During Covid-19 pandemic situation Amcor company extended its principal support to all of its customers through providing food, hygiene, beverage and as well as health care products, which helps to reduce the key spread as well as impact of this chronic virus (Amcor, 2022). This company has a proper business plan across its overall plants and “raw material supply chain” that keep its customer safe and healthy. Amcor company always encouraged its customers and employees through “human resource managers” to follow all covid-19 norms and maintain hygiene within workplace.
Assessment 3_ Group Presentation: Human Resources management in Amcor 5 As a technological purpose Amcor company enhances usage of “advanced recycling materials” that is generally known as “ExxonMobil’s Extend technology”. With the help of this technology, Amcor is able to reach its sustainable development to improve all of its “packaging to be reusable” by 2025 and as well as enhance key use of reusable attributes (Amcor, 2022). This “Exxtend technology” also helps this company to gain its sustainable goal and capture more customers. According to Karen Schroeder, states that this technology helps this organization to improve with a high range and makes Amcor a global business leader in producing and developing packaging for beverage, medical, pharmaceutical, food, and other products. On the other hand, Amcor invests in “PulPac fibre technology” to increase global expansion of “innovative paper packaging”. Also, these internal changes in company’s environment increase responsibility of human resource managers to look after this technological innovation and take care of all of its work. Clear evidence through the interviews conducted to support All the answers which have come from company’s human resource managers are used to cross-check with several board members of this company. One of the key members of this company is Graeme Liebelt, he also stated same version as Karen Schroeder (Linkedin, 2022). In other words, Dr Armin Mayer who is “deputy chairman of board” of Amcor, was also told that this company experienced several changes during covid-19 situation and similar adaptations of technology ( Se-Jin & Karamooz, 2022). In another word, Ron Delia who is “Chief Executive officer” of this company also states that human resource managers' roles and responsibilities have changed several times due to external and internal changes in this organization (Amcor, 2022). Therefore, it is very clear that Karen Schroeder did not give wrong or fabricated information. Explanation of the relevance of the findings (including recommendations for changes) Relevance findings According to Belenje et al. (2022), principally stated that Amcor as a packaging industry, this company takes proper care of its employees and its customers through its human managers' department. In other words, according to Crossley et al. (2022), Amcor takes several infrastructure improvements through adaptation of several technological innovations, as well as human resource managers look after these innovative ideas. As per Divekar, 2022), human resource managers of Amcor company provide proper care to its valuable customers and well- being of employees. Recommendation “Human resource managers” need to align their business strategies with internal and external factors. They need to ensure their key “talent strategy aligns” with organization's development plan. This department needs to elaborate on training requirements and as well as execute all these strategies.
Assessment 3_ Group Presentation: Human Resources management in Amcor 6 Analysis of the effectiveness of the group using relevant theories This group presentation is very relevant and this interview process occurred very scientifically. Therefore, in this present context “ Exchange theory ” is very significant. This theory is very important to analyse key effectiveness of this group presentation, as this theory refers to several social orders as unplanned results of acts of exchange between society and company members. In other words, “ Homan’s theory ” is also very relevant ( Se-Jin & Karamooz, 2022). This theory clearly refers that group presentation is generally based on three objectives such as effective activity, sentiments and effective interactions. Summary Throughout this study have done a group presentation on human resource managers' roles and responsibilities at Amcor company, chosen manager is Karen Schroeder. This study concludes that presently human resource departments have faced several changes of responsibility due to internal and external changes in organization’s environment. During covid- 19 situation this company also faced several internal and external changes, therefore roles and responsibilities of human resource managers continuously changing. This company adopt much technological innovation for development, and this policy also increases key responsibility of company’s human resource managers.
