Overview:
Provide a brief idea of what is going to happen during the experience, who will be involved, for how long and what will the child/ren be doing.
This experience aims to introduce children to the rich languages and cultures of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Throughout the month, children will engage in language learning sessions, cultural storytelling, and collaborative art activities. Local Indigenous community members, Elders, and language custodians will actively participate, sharing their knowledge and fostering a sense of connection.

This experience provides opportunities for children to:
Understand the importance of language in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
Learn basic greetings, words, and phrases in local Indigenous languages.

Build respect for diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
