P2 audits can assist in making improvements for product quality, motive employees, and overall provide benefits to the environment. The electronic industry uses a lot of materials that if not properly process or disposed of release toxin into the environment. The below pollution prevention audit is conducted on cell phones. Before anyone is actually assigned to their task supervisor and shift leaders will make sure that each employee assigned a task is properly trained. Training sessions and meeting to go over process will be conducted on a weekly basis. These sessions/meeting provides the opportunity for concerns, or questions to be addressed. Ensuring that everyone is working as a team, and completely understand the task they were given. It’s very important that P2 audit is conducted as a team effort. P2 can be impacted not only by the production, but by purchasing, maintenance inventory management, and other activities or process ( Hazardous Materials & Waste
