Introduction Summary The case study that I chose was the Campus Bikes case study. The owner of Campus Bikes Mark Turner wants to install an up-to-date computer system to handle all of the business functions. In this case study we know that Campus Bikes sells several different brands of new bikes which includes everything from high-end racing models to beach cruisers. The staff
of Campus Bikes is made up of Mark, a bookkeeper, two part time sales reps, a full-time mechanic, and several part-time service helpers who assemble bikes. Mark learned the business from working with his father in his automotive business. Sales orders at the bike shop are recorded on preprinted forms, and service requests are written up just as they would be in an auto
service department. Specifications
Create accounts for members so they can be able to check in through their Identification card and record information on what type of problem they are having with certain bikes and models instead of having to write everything down on a piece of paper which could get lost.
The accounts for employees will record in and out times from shifts and track how many hours they have worked for that week’s pay period. If the accounts are implemented, they
would also track service dues on that account showing what is owed for the certain type of work they need done on their bike which will automatically let them know what they need to pay. This will cut down the workload of having to manually write out what is due
to the customer, and it will cutdown going back and forth for the customer.
System Architecture
The essential roles that will be filled for this business system will be the Chief executive officer (CEO), and Chief Operations Officer (COO) these two are the focus of how they want the
business system to operate. The next role will be the Product Manager who will be the go-to on all things related to the products that we are selling. When the new business system is up and running, we will need a Chief technology officer (CTO) who specializes in technology and development, which is crucial to a business’s success. The next role that needs to be filled is going to be the Chief marketing officer (CMO) this team members focus is going to be on customers and how they view your product or service. The last role that needs to be filled is going to be Customer Service Representatives, this is a critical task because they are the ones who are building positive relationships with your customers and clients while building your brand. To make sure that we complete this project in a timely manner that works with the customer who wants this done we will implement a Gnatt chart which will show how much time we can spend on implementing the new business system

this will let us know if we will be on schedule with running the plan and it will also let us know if we need to spend more time on the project and change our deadline after talking about it with our customer.

User Interface Design
The User interface design that we will be using is going to be A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet this
will be easy to use when it comes to inventory and still lets the staff know which bikes need to be
worked on, ready for pick up, has been picked up, and lets you know how much the customer will pay. The HCIs that this will offer is going to be Usability and the reason for this is because
with excel you have easy readability throughout each cell which will make it easy for anyone on the staff to understand. This proposal follows the user-centered design principles too because this
easy-to-use UI design is designed for the users and their needs, it reduces the unnecessary mental
effort by making the readability so easy to use, its free of design errors. I believe that the solution
that I will be implementing will be effective because it targets the main problem that the company is facing right now which is not having a system that can handle all day-to-day functions for the business to run. The solutions that I have came up with will be help make sure that customers don’t need to write down information on sheets of paper to let the bike shop know
that they need repairs it will all be done online, and it will let the customer know what was done too the bike and how much they will need to pay for the bike to be repaired and given back to them.
