fundamental concepts of Land Navigation after class IOT
succeed in future written and practical land navigation
exercises.
KEY TASKS:

Acquire Supplies: Land Navigation Practice Test Versions A-D,
Answer Sheets, Maps (Tenino), Pencils, Protractors, Index
Cards.
•
Complete and review practice questions.
•
Review plotting points on a map, identifying terrain features,
intersection, resection, and other concepts as needed.
•
Conduct AAR.

MS3s gain a greater understanding of the fundamental concepts
and skills of land navigation to enhance performance and
confidence during written and practical land navigation exercises.
