Summary of the data
To ensure the best practices for learning are assumed, the learner can use
summartive assessments so as to ensure that they meet the performance goals.
In summative assessments, the learner shall be gauged using standard
benchmarks set up by the educator, mentor, coach or the manager. The process
shall also encompass showing of the criteria used in learning and getting
solutions such as collecting data using qualitative or quantitative methodologies.
The models used are also displayed to depict the learning process. On the
educators, they are also supposed to assess before training the trainees through
looking into if the learners understand or have a clue for the topic. They should
also offer appropriate choices to learners to ensure they understand on the best
1.
Access any other sources of information or relevant contributors to your planned research
a.
Which sources or contributors did you access (at least one)?
b.
Summarise the information/data.
c.
Attach proof of the information to this section of your portfolio.
You must use mathematical information to statistically analyse your data. For example:
•
probability
•
percentages
•
mean, average, medium
•
hypothesis testing

Sources
of
information
To complete the research, information was collected from surveys that were
subjected to employees and learners, reviewed journals and other publications,
reviewed content from online platforms such as google, reviewed government
websites among others.
The information that was searched for was on the ways into which we should use
to measure student learning. It was found that we can use direct and indirect
measures where direct measures might encompass use of assignments that they
can complete and deliver to the trainers for assessment. Indirect approaches
shall include use of workplace evaluations on the job being done, course
enrolment information, alumni surveys and graduate performance rates for the
past few years.

You must use mathematical information to confirm your data’s reliability. For example:
•
Numerical sample size
•
Percentage accuracy or completeness
•
Percentage of outlier data Answer
The sample size for the research were 100% committed to the online survey as they all answered the questions as indicated in the findings. All the data has This study source was downloaded by 100000863270395 from CourseHero.com on 02-15-2024 20:41:25 GMT -06:00

Answer
Research Topic: Evaluation of methods used to support student learning
Findings
•
45 out of 50 students were agreeable of understanding the online platform.
The research established that, students should ensure they are familiar and
comfortable with navigating within the online platform that your
school/college is using.
•
49 out of 50 sample size for the research agreed the information for the learning procedure should be displayed online.
•
On social presence of instructor, the audience were all agreeable to the strategy (100% of the sample size).
•
95% of the students voted that communication to the students on the progress of the learning should be done prior to the start of learning activities.
•
100% of the sample size were concerned that students should be engaged frequently to ensure they are part the decisions made on their learning process during the pandemic.
•
80% of the students agreed to conduct self-monitoring as a way to ensure they keep up to speed with the training services offered during the COVID-
19 pandemic.
100% were concerned that the online learning services should be accessible to all enrolled students
3.
Confirm the integrity of your collected data and analysis.
a.
Does your sample/population size differ to your planned sample size (calculated in Section 1)?
b.
Review your data for accuracy of details and completeness (have you captured all the data?).
c.
Does any data show conflicting or opposing information?
d.
How does your analysis tool suit the type of data you’re using and the analysis required?
e.
Are your findings complete (i.e. have you fully addressed your purpose/hypothesis)?
f.
Have you adhered to legal requirements (e.g. data privacy)?
g.
What further research is required?
h.
How will you approach the additional research?
and the audience are not opposed to the remote learning program. Using
percentages and numerical results reporting suits the data as it is just little
data thus analysing it being a simple task. The findings are complete as they
have addressed the methodologies to be utilised in offering learning to students
during the pandemic. Further research on the financial readiness of management
need to conducted.
