7-1 Final Project I. Key Considerations  The key considerations for this report include various factors essential for designing a network for the new office in Fayetteville, NC. These factors address the unique needs and challenges of the location. The OSI stack, a fundamental model for understanding network communication, plays a crucial role in influencing the network design. It helps in structuring and optimizing communication within the network. The IP range considerations are vital for addressing the addressing scheme within a company of this size, ensuring sufficient addresses for devices and potential future growth.  The strategic goals of the company, revolve around expansion into new markets and enhancing global reach. The proposed network solution aligns with these objectives by facilitating seamless communication and collaboration across locations. It supports live video teleconferencing, promoting effective remote collaboration. Furthermore, it ensures the reliable transmission of print jobs to the Albany headquarters, promoting operational efficiency. This comprehensive solution aids the organization in achieving its goals.  II. LAN Topology  After evaluating various LAN topology possibilities and their strengths and weaknesses, I recommend the implementation of a "star topology" for the Fayetteville office. This choice offers several advantages, including simplicity in setup and management, centralized control, scalability, and reliability. While it may have some limitations in terms of redundancy compared to other topologies like mesh, the use of reliable hardware and failover mechanisms at the central switch mitigates concerns about a single point of failure. III. Internet Service Provider 
To meet the business goals and objectives effectively, I recommend selecting CenturyLink as the Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the Fayetteville office. CenturyLink offers symmetrical download/upload speeds of up to 940Mbps, ensuring smooth video conferencing and reliable print job transmission. The ISP's security features and reliability align well with the firm's goals of seamless communication and productivity.  IV. Hardware and Software, Printer, and Bandwidth  To meet the needs of the Fayetteville office, the proposed hardware and software solutions include advanced routers, switches, access points, firewalls, antivirus software, and full disk encryption. These components will enable efficient data transport, network management, and data security.  To address print job transfer needs, I recommend configuring a print server at the Fayetteville office and using the Brother MFCL2750DW printer. This setup ensures reliable and secure print job transmission, with considerations for tracking devices, automating driver distribution, and controlling access.   To meet teleconferencing needs, Quality of Service (QoS) configurations should be implemented. The Zyxel C3000Z router, compatible with QoS settings, will prioritize VoIP traffic for clear and uninterrupted calls.  V. Potential Errors  Common network errors anticipated at the new location include bandwidth congestion, network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and security breaches. Effective troubleshooting approaches, such as problem isolation, trace routing, and pinging, will be used to address these errors.
