Introduction Photoshop is a software designed and developed by Adobe with the sole purpose of graphic design, image editing, and image creation. Photoshop was introduced in the market in 1987 with the aim of displaying grayscale images on a monochrome bitmap monitor, and it would be used in editing images by applying special features. As computer graphics enhanced, Photoshop users designed the program, allowing it to create, edit, and manipulate images depending on the needs of the users. As the processing capabilities of computers increased, the developers of the programs kept rolling new updates, and currently, the program supports various features, which include image adjustment layers, image cropping, clone stamping, healing brush, color balancing, blend modes, making selection, and much more. Currently, Adobe has integrated the program with artificial intelligence, which allows it to remove various aspects of the image and fill it with the surrounding pixels, enhancing the graphic capabilities of the program. ( Padova, 2022 ) Photoshop can be integrated with devices such as loupe deck consoles, which allows it to provide users with the commonly used desktop functions for production, making it easy to use the program. This console not only gives graphic designers an easy time while editing images, but it also allows them to use native plugins such as Adobe Camera to enhance the image editing experience. By Photoshop offering its users diverse features, users can meet their graphic needs, thus keeping them productive despite the image they are editing. Expected user types The main users who are likely to use Adobe Photoshop are both males and females aged 18-45 years experienced in graphic design, photography, and web design. Other users who can use this program include UI/UX designers, digital artists, print designers, 3D artists,
fashion designers, game designers, architects, and interior designers for various activities. Users must have a detailed understanding of the basic interface navigation of the program and how to use various consoles for image manipulation. Apart from having a detailed understanding of the interface, users are also required to understand file management, selection and masking, blending layers, color collection, applying filters and effects, and other requirements required in image editing for them to meet their needs. In this program, we can exclude people with severe visual disabilities as it requires high graphics for users to understand what they need and what they can change from the program to meet their visual needs. Methodology This research paper will use both questionnaires and interviews to analyze how various uses applications for their work operations. In this research, four participants were selected, and they were required to fill out the questionnaires and attend interviews independently on how Photoshop increases productivity in their workplace to the best of their knowledge. Questionnaires would be mailed to the participants while interviews were conducted via phone or going to the location where the participants worked. After data has been collected from participants, it will be presented for analysis, where we will provide the information based on the analyzed information to identify the pros and cons of using the program. After the information has been analyzed, the researchers will be required to recommend how the program can be improved, thus meeting the diverse needs of various workforces and enhancing productivity. observations Participant 1, graphic designer

Jimmy Watson is a graphic designer, and his main role in the organization is creating visual content and enhancing image designs. Mr. Watson is required to combine multiple images to find the best images that bring the shapes he likes to ensure that he can create the most visually appealing images. After creating the images, he is required to print them and analyze them deeply. This is to allow him to ensure that the images of the graphics he is required to produce meet these expectations in the market and his target audience. ( Loto, 2019 ) As Watson is working on images, he is required to apply different types of visual effects to enhance the scene and apply color collections to ensure that the colors meet the needs as expected. The color collection features allow him to adjust the tones on various images and ensure that the audience is able to clearly emphasize the components of the image that he requires. Despite Watson finding Photoshop the best application for creating visually appealing images, he would spend most of his time applying side effects to the images, making them meet the needs of his clients. He would apply these side effects to some premade templates, allowing him to complete his work and focus on other projects. Mr. Watson suggested that whenever he was editing larger images, his computer would keep freezing as it kept running out of primary storage. Participant 2: Web designer Jane Marley is a web developer, and she mainly uses Adobe Photoshop to create and refine visual elements that are required in various websites. Some of the common parts that Jane is required to develop are the designs for the layout of the websites. With the help of Photoshop, she is able to create the design of the website, which includes the headers, navigation sessions, and the content sectors of the website. Furthermore, she is able to use
Photoshop to design several buttons, which include the website button, forms, input levels, and the interactive elements of the website. When Jane is creating the designs of the website, she is required to create a responsive design on how the website will look on different devices regardless of the size of the devices and maintain a user friendly to the customers, allowing them to keep in the website. Whenever she is developing the website, she is required to use image optimization strategies to ensure that the website is able to load faster without compromising the visual appeal and loading times of the client. ( Kelby, 2018 ) Jane would complete approximately two projects in a day as she used specific designs for various web pages, and she was required to edit the colors of the webpage depending on the users who were to visit the webpage. After that, she would edit the webpage banners and later share the design with her clients for them to make recommendations about their work. Jane stated that it would be hard to share their design as not all the users had the required programs to view web designs that were developed using Photoshop programs. Jane did not have to worry much about his computer graphics as she did not have to emphasize graphics. Participant 3 photographer Sullivan Park is a photographer, and she mainly uses Photoshop in image retouching. During image retouching, her main work is removing wrinkles, blemishes, and other imperfections that might be found in the image that might make the image look attractive to its viewers. Furthermore, the color collection helps her to use the color collection feature to balance contrast and saturation with the aim of enhancing the normal feel and look of the image. Furthermore, she may opt to adjust the exposure of the image to update the underexposed and the overexposed areas in the image captured.
Sullivan might opt to sharpen the image to enhance the details of the image; enhancing the details of the image is essential in reducing the noise of the image and ensuring that the image is clear. Sullivan might also add textures and overlays to give the picture a unique outlook, allowing the audience to appreciate the work done by the photographer. During the day, she would take hundreds of photos, which she would spend editing an entire day. At times, her computer would run slow as she did not have a dedicated graphics card, and she was required to edit several images simultaneously. Whenever part was editing the images, she would spend most of her time searching for the best visual effects to suit the images taken to give her clients the best they deserved. Participant 4: Architect and an interior designer. Wilson Jones is both an architect and an interior designer, and he uses Photoshop, and he mainly uses it in visualizing his design concepts. With the help of Photoshop, he can edit various images and demonstrate how they are likely to fit in a particular environment. As he edits the images, he is able to understand the best places where particular components fit the best before producing the final image. Jones uses Photoshop in rendering 3D enhancements, allowing him to add more details to the image and use various reflections, which include shadows and reflections when updating the images. With the help of Photoshop, Jones can perform virtual staging where he can decorate the interior spaces, which is essential for providing his clients with a clear vision of how the finished products of the design would look. Jones uses Photoshop to communicate and collaborate with his consultants regarding the existing design, allowing them to suggest what can be updated to enhance the designs they have created. Lastly, Jones uses Photoshop to showcase furniture arrangements, which allows him to create detailed colors and lighting schemes that clients can use to enhance his artistic work. ( Kelby, 2018 )

Since Jones experienced difficulties when creating the images, he preferred creating custom templates that he would use for specific rooms, and he would edit the images depending on the demands and the sizes of the tools that were to be purchased by their clients. Editing complex images required a dedicated graphics card to edit their images, thus meeting the best designs for various clients in the market. Interpretation and analysis Based on the results collected, the users were required to have a deep understanding of how all the features of the program worked. For instance, understanding how to combine multiple images and apply different effects to the images to get their results. If users didn’t understand how all the features of the program would be used, they were likely to produce blurred and unappealing images, which is likely to affect their production and it would affect the needs of the clients, which was per the needs of their clients. Most of the users suggested that using the program was time inefficient as they would spend most of their time trying to create and edit images from scratch. Users preferred using a premade template as it would allow them to apply various templates within the shortest time possible, thus maximizing their productivity and efficiency. Users who often used the program preferred to purchase all the consoles to minimize their time when editing the images. Users who used the program for business purposes had to invest in the required hardware, such as a high-end computer with a dedicated graphics card and monitor with more than 120 hertz, enhancing the clarity of the graphics they were using. Other users, such as the graphics designers, preferred using televisions in their work environment as they had a higher refresh rate, and they were offered in different sizes and types, allowing them to support all
their work activities. Using a computer with a good processor and a dedicated graphics card minimized compliance issues, enhancing productivity within the organization. ( Apau, 2021 ) Recommendations Despite Photoshop being integrated with multiple features that allow it to meet all the needs required for photo editing, it might be hard to navigate as the users are required to use the complex interface, and it might be tedious to understand the functionality of the program. Secondly, Photoshop is a great tool for graphic designers, and the older versions lack image clarity when the users edit the images. Most users suggest that the program would be designed with an effective content awareness tool, thus meeting the dairy needs and operations required for everyday productivity. Photoshop is used in a wide range of places, and it is rich in features that might not be used by all the subscribers. Most of the subscribers suggest that Photoshop needs to be created with various features for various people depending on how they will be using the application. This can be essential as it will be easier for them to use the application, thus meeting their dairy operations successfully. Despite Photoshop being a great software for editing images, it lacks an effective sharing strategy as sharing images might result in the right issues between the users, which can make the users face law class actions. Users should seek permission from the owners of various images before editing them. This is an essential strategy as it can allow various Photoshop users to leverage their creativity. ( Padova, 2022 ) Using Adobe Photoshop is not easy as the users are required to have a deep understanding of how to use the program to leverage the full usage of the program. Despite Photoshop requiring users to have a deeper understanding of the program, it requires users to have high-end computers to meet the full functionality of the program. Installing the program
to computers that do not meet the full requirements makes it hard to run the program, thus helping the users achieve consistency and the full functionality. If the users have a detailed understanding of the program, they can purchase the required consoles to help them achieve full functionality and make it easy to use the program, thus helping them to achieve their desired effects with ease. Furthermore, these consoles make it easy to navigate when using the program, thus maximizing the consistency of their productivity. Having the right inputs, such as the light pen, can be essential in adding the program's functionality, thus enhancing the user experience. Conclusion Photoshop is a powerful, complex image editing and creating software that allows users to manipulate and enhance images by applying several side effects depending on their needs. The program integrates multiple features, which include image adjustment layers, color balancing content awareness, and much more, which allows users to create all types of designs for their production activities. Despite Photoshop integrating multiple features, new users might find it hard to use as using different features can result in different image patterns, making the designers find it hard to choose the best designs for their clients. Despite Photoshop integrating all features required for image creation, it requires high-end computers with dedicated graphics cards to meet their needs. For designers using the program for business purposes, they need to invest in consoles such as loupe decks and monitors to get the best from the program. With the program integrating multiple features, it becomes versatile for programmers and designers, making it essential for professional and personal projects. Photoshop can be a complex program for first-time users, but the users must master its complexity, thus creating ultimate designs.
