You are going to continue to add to “Your Future” plan.
By now you should have explored 3 different career paths and examined which college,
university or apprenticeship programs you need to complete to get there.
Explain how you plan to have enough money to finance you learning after high school.
Copy and complete the following chart to summarize the advantages and disadvantages of
your choices.
Include this information to the bottom of your “Your Future” plan.

For each of your career paths
, explain how the following aspects will affect your choice:
Cost:
(i.e. can you afford to pay for the program, how much debt will you go into, etc.)
Location:
(i.e. do you want to be close to home? In a big city? Explain your choice)
Length of Program:
(i.e. can you “handle” school for another 4 years?)
Accreditation:
(i.e. will you get a degree that requires you to go back and get a diploma?)
Learning Environment:
(i.e. if you are a “hands-on” learner is university with large lectures the
best place for you to succeed?)

Select the green “Explore Careers” tab on the left.
Select the “Explore by Outlook” button in the centre of the screen.
Type your different careers into the search bar to find the outlook for your careers in different
areas.
Add “Outlook” to each of your career paths

in which you want to live!
