Replace the bracketed text with your responses.
Purpose Statement:
A standard that should be set throughout the entire organization is high quality data. Only senior level
personnel should be allowed to make decisions, increased productivity from the staff, ensure compliance
of the data within the organization, and accountability of the data that is being utilized by anyone
associated with our organization who has authorized access to the data.
Organizational Goals:
1.
Create a source of action that will ensure the compliance of integrated data.
2.
Ensure that every person on the data security team is a part of data security to protect the data
assets of the organization.
3.
Implementing different objectives and tasks for each department within the organization to help
better protect data.
Data Quality Characteristics and Procedures:
Integrity – Ensures the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and validity of an organization’s
data.

Timeliness- Refers to how up to date information is.
Completeness-Refers to the comprehensiveness or wholeness of the data.
Consistency- Is the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of data stored in a database.
By implementing Data Quality Strategy, it can be utilized by the organization allowing it to follow a strict
and strategic approach to ensure the quality of data. This will make sure that data aligns with the
organization's objectives and requirements that the senior personnel have established and set into
place. Strategies to consider:
1.
Constant communication between personnel
2.
Provide each team with purpose, roles, and responsibilities
3.
Integration to organize overarching strategy
4.
Alignment to organize mission and vison
Security and Personnel Responsibility Plan:
Security policies are set into place within the organization to best protect the data and try and prevent
breaches or human error. The senior personnel should be responsible for ensuring that there are fewer
risks of a breach happening by developing and testing new ways to protect the organization’s data. The
data security team should be responsible for monitoring and investigating any threats and also
maintaining cleaning up data and ensuring that it is up to date and accurate.
