: This week, my deck 1 was in focus of one of my lowest scores
from the mock exam. This deck 1 was made up materials A. Philosophical Underpinning which is one of the first sections. We were only supposed to pick example questions from the deck, but when it came to this section, I realized I didn’t remember full definition cards. I think not knowing actual definitions where not helpful when reading example questions. So, I made sure I added those definition cards in. For SAFMEDS, my goal is to study for a minimum of an hour, and then split my study focus up by days when possible. I have 2 days of studying the decks separately the fluency decks
the acquisition deck, so it will decrease my study time and help with one primary focus area. On

weekends, I try to extend my studies if possible and then do most of my studying in the AM. When doing the trials, I also try to be in a new location for studying. Each trial is 30 seconds, then I write each of the scores down, where I study, the amount of time studying, and any factors affecting it, and then highlight the final score to input later. During this class all my decks are digital flashcards I put together. Behavior
: When I was done studying, I ran the five 30-second trials for the acquisition deck and the three 30-second trials for the fluency deck. I think a lot of my time was putting the decks together, so I didn’t study as much as possible. Especially considering I reviewed the section to see how much I remembered and overall, I have a lot of gaps in memory. This week a lot of my trial times were past my usual goal time of 9:30pm which has never been
a sign of good progress. Consequences
: I was able to place all my data points at the end of the week and just review my scores. They are not that high as expected. I feel like for this class my big goal is going to be just trying. It is such a big test and information and with doing so much a little amount of time I have to be realistic. For my acquisition deck accel, I have a upward trend line, with low variability in the data line. I was able to end on a low level which is usual when I study a new deck because of the adjustment. For the acquisition decel the data had low variability and not too far from the data goal line.
