When was the primary source created? o June 13,2023 Where was the primary source created, released, or publicized? o June 13,2023 Who was the intended audience for the primary source? o I think the intended audience would be for someone who is looking for new information on the topic or just learning about the topic. Why was the primary source created? o I believe the source was created to give information on the origin and the use of NATO. Whose perspective(s) is presented in the source? o I think the perspective would be from someone who has a background of political history and wants to spread awareness. Both Sources Analyze the primary sources relevant to your historical event for the presence of bias. I believe it is valuable to understand and know what the topic is which makes ‘What is NATO? And why was it created. Is useful to know the history of NATO and the reasons why it was created to in order better answer my research question. Also, my other article gives the opposite as it talks about what is actually happening within NATO and could offer insight as well to my research question to find out if NATO is still holding its standards or better to continue to help other countries. Compare how your historical event is represented in your primary sources. I believe the historical event is represented by making sure that my research question will align with how NATO is founded and operated today and how those changes have affected historical events such as COVID. 2
