you think so? In 1908, Aram Pothier, an immigrant from Quebec, is elected governor of
Rhode Island with strong support from the Québécois community.
This scenario is focused on his election of a governor, and the voters who supported him,
therefore this would be a political lens.

you think so? Irish immigrants and first-generation Irish-Americans come to dominate
the hierarchy of the American Catholic Church in the late nineteenth century.
This lens would be religious as it is focused on the Hierarchy of the American Catholic Church.

you think so? Immigration to the United States comes to be seen as a “rite of passage”
for young Québécois women in the early twentieth century.
This scenario would be the Social lens due to the fact that it is focused on a certain social status
gained through the experience.

Many Irish Immigrants enlisted into the Union Army, how did that effect the economy? Did this
help increase the revenue while keeping job openings at the same level?
