We don’t believe in eugenics as a science anymore, but the ideas behind it are still around. THINK. Your answer to this is worth 50% of your grade for this quiz. In both of your sources for this quiz, questions of poverty and morality are connected to eugenics. In our world today, we believe science and social science offer paths to giving us answers. Where does eugenics fit in that? Many people believed it was a scientific solution for social problems…and they believed that well into the Twentieth Century. What do you think? Why do ideas like Eugenics focus on particular groups of people? Do we still try similar (if less dramatic) plans today? Like what?
