HIS 223 Milestone Two Guidelines and Rubric Overview This assignment is the second milestone of the final project. The final project for this course is a narrative paper on some aspect of military modernization in Western societies. Sources: Your final project submission requires 1 to 2 primary sources, and 4 to 5 scholarly secondary sources. Prompt Milestone Two will be a 3- to 4-page submission consisting of multiple parts. Be sure to include a 1- to 2-paragraph introduction that identifies the topic of the final paper, provides a preliminary thesis statement, and explains the significance of the topic. Next you will write a 2- to 3-page outline of the project that identifies the main ideas that you plan to discuss and identifies the sources you plan to use to support those main ideas. Finally, you will include a bibliography that correctly cites at least 6 primary and secondary sources that you plan to use in the paper. What to Submit Submission should be a Word document with double spacing (except for the bibliography), 12- point Times New Roman font, and one-inch margins.
