Warmart (Parody of Walmart) Black Friday was around the corner and I was prepared for the ensuing war about to break out in the local Walmart. Learning from the past, this year I will take more precautions against the mass hordes of furious customers by standing on a shopping cart, towering over the violent shoppers. November 29th, 2019, was the day I almost died. Walmart had just filled their inventory with the new Samsung 65-Inch QLED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV priced at a staggering $2,199.99! However, due to the black friday sales, the price was reduced by a whopping 20%! Everyone was trying to get their hands on this new technology, I was no different. I had made sure to arrive earlier to find parking and line up to be the first one into the store, but clearly, others had the same idea. Luckily, I was located in the middle of the line, not so far from the front. When the clock hit exactly 7:00AM, the doors opened and chaos ensued. The flow of the overloading horde was greater than I had anticipated and even after all of the preparations and precautions I still wasn’t able to withstand the oncoming stampede. I decided to sit outside overcome by a great feeling of sorrow and grief knowing that I wouldn’t be able to get the new super high quality Samsung TV on my own. It was at this moment when I decided I needed a partner, a companion to rule the aisles of walmart. My friend Antonio lived nearby so I called him to ask if he was willing to help me acquire a new TV from walmart. Being the amazing friend he is, he agreed. The only way to avoid being trampled was to elevate ourselves above the dangerous crowds. This was when Antonio developed a seamless plan to resolve our issue. He had suggested we stand on top of a shopping cart and roam the aisles in that manner. Finally, we were able to push our way to the TV aisle and managed to snatch the last Samsung 65-Inch QLED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV. From this day forward, Antonio and I dominate black friday with ease.
