The steps to identify potential teacher leaders and their professional development needs surrounding teacher leadership will require me to understand their experience with instructing teachers, assessments, or serving in professional leadership roles that improve student learning. For example, I would want someone who has served in a
district or state committee with knowledge of assessment, textbooks and technology that are relevant to Nevada curriculum and Common Core Standards.
