Family practice is among the key care environments that APRNs operate within, considering the diversity of healthcare in present times. Family care mainly focuses on various healthcare practices, such as the performance of physical exams, medication prescription, treatment of acute diseases, and other healthcare actions involving a patient and their family (

. There is a close connection between family-centered care and holistic care, considering that a healthcare practitioner focuses on the relationships that the patient has with other people, focuses on the patient's needs, and reviews the changes that are taking place in
the patient's family. Considering Box 11.1 (Joel, 2018), various conditions may significantly impact the revenues for healthcare settings that focus on family practice. One of the main conditions that may affect the amount of revenue a care facility gets includes low employee retention rates. This is a significant issue that impacts the delivery and quality of services, increasing the expenses a facility will spend, especially when responding to employee shortages. Employee shortage when delivering healthcare services through family practice means that the care delivery will be limited to the patient (
Kleinpell et al., 2020)
. The second condition that may impact revenues is the method used to deliver care through family practice. If the methods chosen are inefficient and not cost-effective, the revues will be affected, as there will be more costs and higher expenses. Delivering care in a setting where there is an employee shortage and the selected methods of healthcare delivery could be more efficient, makes it difficult to deliver high-quality care to patients and their families (Mousa & Othman, 2020)
. Patients and their families require top-quality care, which can be guaranteed when adequate staffing and proper methods are used to deliver healthcare services.
