I used Visual encoding then linked the items to office supplies since these are thing you would see in an office building.  Would the method mentioned in the question above be effective for studying for an exam? Why or why not? No  Discuss another memorization technique you could have used to remember the 10 items. I could of used the retrieval method. It involves remembering the information or events that our brain previously encoded and successfully stored.
