1 ENV 4113 Selected Topics in Environmental Issues Renate Sander-Regier ENV 4113 – Selected Topics in Environmental Issues "Healthy planet, healthy people” What to expect each week Environmental Studies, University of Ottawa Weekly content Each week new material will be added to this course site. New content will be posted in the appropriate "Week ..." section, as early as possible in the week. This weekly content will include a combination of the following, which you are encouraged to work through at your own pace, in order of appearance (content makes the most sense this way).  learning modules (pre-recorded)  videos o these videos complement the content in the learning modules o they are accessible through web links  guided activity (sometimes)  reflective response to the weekly content o submitted, ideally, at the end of the week in question o these submissions will not be graded specifically, but they will be read with great interest, and they will count toward your final grade for the course  online discussion (optional) o if you wish, you can also share your perspectives with other students through this vehicle The weekly content will be accessible until at least the end of the final exam period. Update We usually provide an update toward the end of the week, in the form of a Brightspace announcement. That is why we encourage you to manage your notifications to receive announcements. Our presence Someone from the teaching team will drop in regularly, but not necessarily daily, to see  if you have any questions through the FAQs  if you need more information  how online conversations are unfolding  and to generally manage the online course.
