Employee Health and Wellness Program Management Plan
Scope and objectives
The primary goal is to create a program that will assist staff in becoming healthier, happier, and more
productive. Regular health examinations, nutritionist consultations, free fitness club memberships,
and nutritious selections for breakfast, lunch, and snacks are all part of the program.
Administrative structures and resources
This program's creation and execution are under the purview of the HR department. An outside
organization that will offer us recommendations, training, and resources will dedicate one full-time
person to this initiative. The total annual budget for this program is about $70.000.
Responsibilities
The head program manager will be in charge of the entire initiative. A junior position that assists
with program implementation will be created.
Communications and marketing strategies
Marketing tactics: Encouraging staff to eat more healthfully by providing free samples of tasty lunch
selections. Provide a volunteer health screening program: This is a fantastic chance to inform the
staff that the service is available. Bring a medical professional with you so they can check your
cholesterol, blood pressure, weight, and body fat. A member of the wellness team can concurrently
talk about and advertise planned and ongoing wellness programs.
Evaluation methods and continuous improvement strategies
A participation rate of 75% is what we're aiming for. We'll just count how involved the staff members
are in any upcoming activities to determine how engaged they are with them.
If we notice that engagement is lower than 75%, we will ask for input so that we can identify the
areas that need to be improved
.
Part C – Coordinate program management plan
Assume that you have just coordinated a program management plan for ihBC Campus. Write a 250-
word report on how you have:

Prepared policy documents and coordinate strategies in conjunction with program team
members
2.
Coordinated support, assistance and mentorship to relevant stakeholders
3.
Monitored tracking systems according to program guidelines
4.

progress reports to stakeholders
Program Coordination Report
Together with the stakeholders, the responsible team for the health and wellness program produced
the program's policies, which cover the project's objectives, privacy policy, project scope, and
implementation guidelines.
The following areas of support will be taken into consideration:
• General assistance & support for staff members taking part in the program: (24/7) Email and chat
support: Receiving basic inquiries about the program
• Mentors in each functional area supporting colleagues' health and wellness programs by offering
guidance and assisting staff to fully utilize the program's advantages.
A third-party source will deliver the monitoring tracking systems. The plan is to pay for a license that
the business will annually renew. One of the tracking tools is a fitness tracker (watch), and users have
access to an app that tracks activity and creates a rewards scheme that gives workers days off if they
meet a certain wellness goal or gift cards.
The following are a few of the project's major milestones:
80 percent coverage, 50 percent of employees logging in at least once a week, and 30 percent of
workers receiving an incentive (achieving their wellness-fitness goals)
The plan is to automate weekly reports that include several KPIs that are essential to the program's
success. The appropriate project stakeholders will receive these reports, we will establish weekly
goals for each KPI, and we will also obtain certain benchmarks from an outside organization or
software vendor. In the twice-weekly management meeting, any deviations from the plan will be
examined and acknowledged in order to devise the appropriate remedial actions.
Part D – Evaluate and improve program management plan
Write a 250-word Program Management Plan Evaluation Report on how you are going to evaluate the
program management plan. In your report, make sure to:
1.
Use agreed evaluation methods to assess effectiveness of program at specific stages
2.
Communicate information from program evaluation process to stakeholders
3.
Incorporate evaluation process and outcomes into continuous improvement strategies,
enterprise agreements and future corporate plans

Program Management Plan Evaluation Report
Stage 1: Participation rate -> How many workers signed up for the program, and what does utilization
look like on a weekly basis?
Stage 2: Completion rate -> How many participants completed the program? How did they find it?
(Net Promoter Score, NPS).
Stage 3: Reduction in medical costs and increased costs from missed work days -> Calculate the
project's savings and possible return to date. The finance team is a vital stakeholder to deal with.
Stage 4: Determine the investment's return (Investment: Total program cost / Return: Cost-savings
on healthcare, sick days, and increased productivity) -> Calculate the return on investment to
evaluate the project's present state of the art. If the ROI is lower than anticipated, there are two
options: either raise participation and completion rates or cut costs.
Every three months, it is intended to update all stakeholders (including participants) on the
program's accomplishments. This will be done through email along with a PDF report that lists all
completed activities, participation and completion rates, and future activities.
In order to evaluate the effectiveness of the program, it is planned to send out a biweekly survey to
determine whether or not needs are being met and to obtain general feedback. This report will be
for the relevant stakeholders only and exclude participants. It will show performance in a more
holistic manner and include financials (related expenses v/s budget, revenue). Prior to the program's
execution, the goal is to gather as much input as possible from potential participants so that we can
clearly see the existing situation and compare it to the situation that will exist once the project is
finished.
