1 Imaginary commercial The imaginary commercial that I am creating is for a health promotion plan focused on encouraging regular exercise as a way to improve overall health and well-being. The commercial will feature individuals of different ages and fitness levels engaging in various types of physical activity, such as running, cycling, swimming, and yoga. It will highlight the many benefits of exercise, such as increased energy, better sleep, improved mood, and a reduced risk of chronic diseases. The goal of the commercial is to inspire viewers to make exercise a regular part of their daily routine. The most effective evaluation type The most effective evaluation type would be outcome evaluation (CDC, 2020). This is because the primary goal of the commercial is to increase awareness and engagement in the health promotion plan focused on encouraging regular exercise. Therefore, measuring the impact of the commercial on the desired outcome, which is an increase in exercise participation, would be the most relevant and useful form of evaluation. To determine whether or not the commercial was successful, I would measure the following outcomes: 1. Increase in exercise participation: The number of individuals who have started or increased their frequency of exercise as a result of seeing the commercial. 2. Change in attitudes and beliefs: The extent to which the commercial has positively influenced viewers' attitudes and beliefs towards exercise, as measured by surveys or focus groups.
2 SMART goals Based on these outcomes, I can set the following SMART objectives: 1. Within three months of airing the commercial, increase the number of individuals who report exercising regularly by 20%. 2. Within six months of airing the commercial, increase the proportion of viewers who strongly agree that exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle by 30%. By setting specific targets, I can easily measure the success of the commercial and make adjustments as needed.
