Dear Colleagues,
Starting next week, we will be offering on-site COVID-19 testing for asymptomatic staff members free of
charge at SCC, SHC, and SRH. This is a self-administered testing process that is being done throughout the
MassGeneral Brigham system. We are coordinating with our colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient
process. The lab testing is being conducted by the Broad Institute at MIT and Harvard with results returned to
you approximately 36 hours later. We are glad we can offer this convenient service to our staff to help relieve
stress and maintain your overall health. Outlined below is important information on the testing program and
process.
Who is Eligible for Testing?
This free testing is for asymptomatic employees who do not fall into the categories listed below. It is
important to remember that this testing will not include the following scenarios:
• Symptomatic employees who have even minor symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home and contact the
Occupational Health Services (OHS) Call Center at 617-724-8100.
• Asymptomatic employees with confirmed exposures (occupational or community) should contact the OHS
Call Center at 617-724-8100 to be scheduled for testing.
• Testing for clinical reasons (for example, if an employee requires pre-admission or pre-procedural testing)
will continue to be ordered by your provider and should not be completed at the Employee Testing Center.
How Do I Schedule a Test?
Staff must schedule their testing appointments in advance
. No walk-in appointments will be available.
Conducting the test only takes a few minutes. All staff must register and schedule prior using the
Lab Pass

note: Use Chrome Browser as Internet Explorer does not work with it
) and our unique SRN

selecting the correct schedule for your facility. Please note that you only need to create a profile on the
webpage the first time you schedule a test, after that, you will just have to use your log-in to schedule a time.
There is a once a week limit for testing.
