Public health planning models provide a structured framework for health promotion initiatives that target the reduction of a specific disease. These models act as a guide for developing and enhancing intervention programs, in contrast to theories that seek to explain phenomena through systematic observation. The process serves as a motivating factor and an inspiration to embrace healthy habits that are consistent with planned actions derived from theories concerning human behavior ( Florida Tech , 2023). Public health professionals may consider different health planning models based on outbreak cases and interventions. Creating health promotion plans and strategies is crucial to prevent or minimize disease outbreaks, and chronic illnesses, and enhance quality of life. Incorporating individual, organizational, and community health promotion strategies is important since healthcare professionals and participants can collaborate to achieve health goals. PRECEDE-PROCEED Model . In the field of educational diagnosis and evaluation, the PRECEDE-PROCEED models are widely recognized frameworks for planning, implementing, and evaluating health promotion programs. These evidence-based models also referred to as PPMs, employ an ecological approach to health promotion that is easily understood by professionals. By highlighting the importance of planning and evaluation in interventions, these models serve as key tools for professionals in this field (Kim, et al., 2022). In contrast to alternative models, the PPM demonstrates greater specificity in outlining the sequential actions required for developing public health campaigns and implementing various interventions to support community initiatives. It emphasizes considering a wide range of promotional perspectives and actively engaging at different stages of the process. The understanding of health to its inherent nature and community concerns is a crucial aspect that impacts an individual's overall well-being. Various factors, such as community attitudes, physical and social environments, political and economic conditions, as well as historical influences, shape the quality of health within a community (DiClemente, 2011). To address these complex dynamics, the PRECEDE model strategically begins by defining the desired outcome for the community and then works backward to identify the necessary steps for achieving that outcome ( Kansas University,  2023). Each phase of this process brings us closer to implementing effective interventions. Although models may provide a guide or foundation for critical analysis of issues, they do not guarantee complete accuracy of the situation on the ground. During the intervention, the PROCEED phase, which involves implementation and evaluation, takes place to assist in monitoring and adjusting analyzed actions for maximum efficiency.
