In my career as a health informaticist, I predict that I will utilize change management topics and
objectives on a regular basis. This might include identifying areas for improvement in current
processes, such as electronic health record (EHR) documentation or patient engagement and
developing and implementing plans to address these issues. It could also involve managing the
rollout of new technology systems or ensuring that staff are trained and equipped to use these
systems effectively.
One example of the importance of change management in healthcare can be seen in the
