Week 7
Introduction Veteran PTSD and Suicide Across the Nation, reflecting on the lives lost and reviewing themes of action to move forward to
prevent suicide. In alignment with prior concerns about the potential for increases in suicide rates, this may reflect a trend in which suicide rates are seen to initially remain stable or diminish
during emergencies and natural disasters, due to a collective coming together, followed by increases in rates. Veterans remain at elevated risk for suicide. We need to come together and help our heroes, and this in happened in all 51 states. They deserved better. We have to help return what they did for our country. We need to help a lot of organizations but to a veteran get the help they need there has to be a person who brings the support. A lot of them they not want to
talk because their families don't understand and sometimes they feel hopeless. Is important to get
involved to be there for them. A lot of suicides can be prevented. And true the organization's family gets support as well. How to help and deal with the situation. On the website are a lot of
organizations that can help. But again to be involved we have to be part of their life and offer them a second chance to see life differently. Ia a lot that we can do for them. But we have to be part. One Veteran's suicide is 1 too many that will drive us towards further action for our work together in the mission of suicide prevention. Our actions are built upon a foundation of hope, and we begin our review reflecting first upon these anchors for our future work together. A lot of the veterans need help a lot of them don't want to apply for benefits because they have to go through a process they don't want to remember what happened. And some the family take advance take their money and don't take care of the veterans and a lot of them you see on the street. Some organizations help our veterans, we as a community must help because they have given everything for our country. They deserve better government programs but the veterans and the families have to be involved. The Department of Veterans Affairs top clinical preventing suicide among all Veterans. Our public health approach to suicide prevention includes clinical interventions and community-
based outreach prevention strategies. Our goal is to communities to help Veterans get the right care, whenever and wherever they need it from collaborating with Veterans Service Organizations, state and local leaders, and community groups to partnering with medical professionals, criminal justice officials, private employers, and many other stakeholders. Put simply, the VA works to raise awareness of resources that can support all Veterans, regardless of VA health care enrollment, and send a message of hope. VA consistently communicates that with proper support, access to effective treatment and counseling with trained providers, safety planning, and other evidence-based intervention strategies, suicide can be prevented. These traumatic experiences can lead to substance abuse and mental health issues such as Post-
Traumatic Stress Disorder, a mental health condition that can be triggered by traumatic life events. Those who suffer from substance abuse and mental health issues have a much harder time finding and maintaining employment and stable housing. Are Military and Veterans deal
with a lot of stress, when they return from home families don't understand the situation that our soldiers go through daily, Are military doesn't want to talk about and that when the frustration for
both sides military and the family. Is important to help prevent suicide, when heroes face daily this frustration they feel alone. The family left and most of them treated them like crazy. Is not the same as seeing it as a movie about war that lives the situation. Most of our heroes do want to live with the situation and take the wrong option.
A lot of veterans when they come home families take advantage and after the veteran gets Because they suffer most of their Ptsd and mental condition they go to the street. The government needs to send social workers to follow up and make sure those veterans have the right to have health benefits to help them, But they just see one more every day a lot of veterans to suicide is sad. They deserved better in a few program programs to help the family understand what the veteran goes tru and help how to deal with and understand. If the government promotes and encourages families and supports the veterans homeless veterans in the United States of America, returning veterans who become homeless due to mental health problems or economic hardship will also become more common in homeless populations. Despite numerous media stories about homeless veterans and the problems they face, actual studies exploring the incidence and causes of veteran homelessness remain scarce. The stress of transition: When leaving the military, veterans move from a structured environment to a less organized civilian community. A lot of veterans become ultimately responsible for managing their time, responsibilities, and mental health issues. This transition can cause extreme levels of stress and affect the veteran's ability to manage the transition. We need to get together to help them. A lot of the veterans need help a lot of them don't want to apply for benefits because they have to
go through a process they don't want to remember what happened. And some that have the

family take advance take their money and don't take care of the veterans and a lot of them you see it on the street. Some organizations help our veterans, we as a community must help because they have given everything for our country. They deserve better government programs but the veterans and the families have to be involved. Best Practice: Portray posttraumatic stress disorder
(PTSD) as a treatable condition that can affect anyone, at any age. Not all Veterans have PTSD, and PTSD does not always cause suicide or suicidal ideation. Note that many Veterans who die by suicide have no diagnosed mental health conditions. Chronic physical pain, among many other factors, can be a significant contributor to thoughts of suicide. A lot of the military comes with traumas in childhood. when they go into the service to war they don't know how to handle some situations in life, especially in the military. The majority of the veterans do not want to remember the trauma. PTSD and symptoms included: hypervigilence, flashbacks, difficulty sleeping, and noise sensitivity. It was amazing to be able to work through these issues with them.
Hypnotherapeutic treatment can provide fast relief but it's important to not package anything as a
'cure', it requires client investment, a good working relationship, and collaboration. Also, I believe ongoing support to address other factors related to PTSD is incredibly important. Depending on the cause, sometimes there are also issues relating to relationship concepts, the self-construct, and most certainly negative emotions such as guilt and shame. These need to be worked on over time and with due care. Therefore, I would always be cautious. If the veterans experience this condition, please know, that it is not your fault. It is not something you are consciously doing. Your body is reacting to its environment and trying to protect you after what has happened. We need to help them to prevent it. A lot of the therapists help our military to live with the trauma, to close the cycle. Are government has a big role in helping them. Is not only to remember having a holiday for them is really to help them. We have a mental crisis in the entire country, Insurance cuts a lot of those benefits. That helps a lot of people just to get more money on their packets. That is wrong as a country a powerful country government needs to do better. If
politicians stole the money it would be enough to put more programs for veterans and civilians to
face mental problems if we look around and look and our families, and friends how many people
are facing mental crises even on their jobs? Is a lot. And a lot of people can handle and they take the wrong choice.
Conclusion
Veterans Affairs has a program to help the military who suffer from PTSD. There are a lot of organizations like WWP, K9 for Warrior, etc. Most important the families have a big role with the veterans. Also, the veteran needs to understand and some time is hard for them to accept that
they need help. That is why family friends and the community play a big role in our heroes. They
give everything for our country and fight for love and values. we need to get together as one nation for our veterans we can do better for them. References
