Assignment #4 Based on the scenario provided in class; answer the following questions. Change Management Question 0: Which scenario number were you assigned to work through? 4 Question #1: What information would you need in the Change Request Form? Why is this information needed? This information is used to request, approve and track changes made in the project. You would need project name, project description, timing, resource requirements, budget information, who is responsible. Question #2: How would you evaluate this Change Request? What considerations would be made? In order to evaluate this change request you would need to see how the project can comply with the permits and laws, since the birds nest was found near the roadway there would need to be some sort of way to protect the species while also ensuring construction and project deliverables are met. Some considerations that would need to be made are possibilities of changing the construction time to a times where the bird would migrate to a different region. Another consideration would be the road to the business center and if it could be altered to be somewhere else.

Question #3: Who would be the decision maker(s) on this Change Request? Why? The decision maker would be the project manager who can be in contact with the government representative who will ensure permits and laws are complied with. The project manager will have understanding and knowledge of all sections of the project including construction activity and permit and law regulation compliance. The project manager will be the main decision maker as they are in contact with all relevant parties. Question #4: How would you track the status of this Change Request? What information would you track? We would track the status of this change request by seeing how each stage is progressing, by evaluating the impact of the change and setting multiple change steps we can track the status by using software. We would like to track the movement of the bird, whether they are still residing in that location. Potential changes in laws and regulations.
