Question #2: Answer the following series of questions. Which stakeholder of “manage closely” did you select?
Department head of engineering Is this an external or internal stakeholder? external What is the stakeholder MOST concern about: scope, time, or cost? Most worried about scope because they are worried about the university reputation. What inputs does the project/project team need from the Stakeholder? (data? opinions? support? guidance? deliverables?) The project team needs guidance from the department head to go about conference requirements for their team, the project team also needs support regarding logistics of the trip from the department head. They will also need opinions from the department head as funding parameters will come from them. What outputs does the Stakeholder expect from the project/project team? (e.g., specifications? contract? business plan? project success?) The department head expects project success, a business plan as they will want to be well informed of all decisions as the students are representing the university. The department head will also need specifications to see how the university funding that the students are given are being used.
