Hello class of RSCH 202,
My name is Kevin Thongkham and I am pursuing a BS in Engineering Technology. This degree will help provide the skills and knowledge I need to become a Quality Engineer. I am currently a quality technician at an Aerospace company out in Phoenix, AZ. I have moved out here since 2004, originally from San Diego, CA. Research is a critical fundamental in engineering. To me, research is investigating. I conduct root cause investigations and help with corrective actions. I ensure the overall quality of our products and processes meets standards and requirements.
The most recent topic I researched was using the Google search engine to see if “borrowing from your 401(k) will affect your credit.” The reason why I chose this topic is that I recently activated my Health Savings Account this year and noticed that I had funds from my previous employer from years ago. I wanted to see if it will affect my credit and if I would get a penalty since I am younger than the retirement age.
