3.
Location of Current Global Region: Discuss where your current region is located, addressing the absolute and relative location of the region. Include citations for your resources using APA style guidelines as needed.
The absolute location for the North American Southeast is ranging from 40 degrees, 37 minutes for the northernmost point to 24 degrees 32 minutes for the southernmost point for the latitude. The longitude is 75 degrees, 28 minutes for the eastern edge to 90 degrees, 02 minutes for the western edge. The relative location is the southern part of the eastern seaboard of the United States to the northern and eastern shores of the Gulf of Mexico. This region shares a border with the Northeast region the Midwest to the north and the Southwest to the West.
4.
Characteristics of Current Global Region: Explain what key sociocultural (human) and physical characteristics define this as a region. Include citations for your resources using APA style guidelines as needed.
The region has a semi-diverse population regarding race and religious diversity. Most of the region has a high population of African Americans, while some areas such as southern Florida have a large population of Hispanics. West Virginia and Kentucky have mostly Caucasian residents with a small number of African Americans and Hispanics (Nijman, 03/2020). Baptists are the majority in the region, but there are some Christian disciples. In southern Florida and the Gulf Coast of Louisiana, Roman Catholicism is more common. Major cities and capital cities in regions have the highest population densities, but there is also a second primary population site in most states. Florida has 6 major cities that act as population densities. While West Virginia has no significant population density even in their capital city (Nijman, 03/2020). The climate for this region varies a little, in the Northern parts of the region, warm weather followed by cold winters with snow accumulation in the Appalachian Mountain range characterizes the summer. In the rest of the region, summer is hot and humid while winters are considered mild with temperatures reaching the 40’s to 50’s. Florida and Louisiana are swampy, while Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina have pine forests. Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, and Kentucky are characterized by being mountainous areas that all have vast forests. Natural hazards in the area vary greatly. In the states along the Gulf Coast, hurricanes are a major hazard. While in the mountainous states, you have flooding hazards during the warmer months and snowfall in the winter months.
5.
Interactions of Current Global Region: How have humans and the environment interacted to produce observable landscapes in your current region? Include citations for your resources using APA style guidelines as needed.
The interaction between humans and the environment is notable; the southeast is an exciting area due to the civil war which caused a stagnation in the economy that some parts have not fully recovered from (Nijman, 03/2020). This caused the region to not have as much of an ethnic diversity due to most slaves staying in the same area. The southeast's reputation has improved and more people are moving there due to a growing economy and urbanization. Southern Florida's economy thrived thanks to affordable travel and indoor environmental control, which resulted in a higher population. The landscape affects
interactions. With flatter terrain, there are more people and it's easier to move goods. While in the mountainous regions, it hampers the flow of goods and has
lower population densities.

Location of New Global Region: Discuss where the new region is located, addressing the absolute and relative location of the region you will be moving to. Include citations for your resources using APA style guidelines as needed.
The absolute location of Lillehammer, which is in Norway, is 61° 6' 54.98"N, and 10° 27' 58.43"E (Longitude latitude in Lillehammer 2023). While the relative location for the region is north of western and eastern Europe, and west of the Russian core. The Norwegian Sea surrounds Norway to the west, North Sea to the south, and Sweden to the east. References: Longitude latitude in Lillehammer. 4.
Characteristics of New Global Region: Explain what key sociocultural (human) and physical characteristics define this as a region. Include citations for your resources using APA style guidelines as needed.
The region has a semi diverse population, with most of the population being of Germanic descent, and the minority being the Sami (Eriksen, 2019). In the region, the population is predominantly Lutheran, followed by Catholic, and a minority practices Islam. The physical characteristics of the region vary depending on where you are at. In Denmark, the area is mainly flat and has no major elevation changes, such as mountains. Yet the area moves from farmlands to beaches and forests. In Norway, little fertile land, beautiful fjords, and large forests define it (Nijman, 03/2020). Sweden has fertile farmlands near majestic mountains. Along the rocky shores, you will find shipping ports that allow for the transportation of goods. The weather in the area has minor differences between countries as well. In Denmark and through most of Norway, it is a humid temperate climate with no dry season and a cool summer or a cool short summer. In Sweden, there are three different climate areas. The Southern area of Sweden, the climate is identical to Denmark and Norway. While in
the central area and throughout most of Finland, it is a humid cold climate. Once you get into the Northern parts of Sweden, Finland and Norway you come into a cold polar climate (Nijman, 03/2020).

shipments from deep draft ships to shallower draft ships for deliveries in the Baltic Sea. Norway uses fishing as its primary source of income, but with discoveries of natural gas and oil deposits, their income has diversified. Sweden has a diverse source of income; fertile lands allow for agriculture. While in coastal areas, factories are making items such as cars, electronics, and furniture to be consumed domestically and internationally (Nijman, 03/2020). Finland has a large agricultural sector but is also expanding into machinery parts (Nijman, 03/2020).

Part III: Comparison of Similarities and Differences
1.
Similarities: Based on the physical and sociocultural (human) characteristics you have described, what are the major similarities between your current and new region?
North America southeast and European Northern (Nordic) Europe have few physical or sociocultural similarities. One similarity is that both regions have mountainous areas that have forests which lead into fertile farmlands. Religion is another thing the two areas have in common, with Lutheran and Catholic being primary religions.
2.
Differences: Based on the physical and sociocultural (human) characteristics you have described, what are the major differences between your current
and new region?
These two regions have quite a few differences. Southeastern North America has a more diverse population than Nordic Europe, which only has two main ethnic groups. The climate of the areas is also different. Nordic Europe is a colder environment, while Southeastern North America has a more humid and warmer climate. The methods of movement of goods are also different. Nordic Europe, most goods are shipped via waterway and places like Denmark are hubs for the transfer of goods from one ship to another. While, in Southeastern North America, goods arrive by ship but are then distributed via roadways or good will arrive by roadway. Finally, another major difference between the two places is the society of the areas. We view Nordic Europe as a leader in inclusion and empowerment of women and all social classes. Southeastern North America is seen as culturally isolated and having low education levels (Nijman, 03/2020).

I have a wooden toy train that runs on wooden tracks. I would like to place two ESP-WROOM-32 Boards on top of the train. Broadcast communication (which involves radio frequency, not Wi-Fi) would help communicate about the train's lateness to five other wooden trains on the same track. Local communication would help communicate to the train station about the train's lateness. I would also need radio frequency Tx-Rx Modules for discharging and undergoing the signal, and repeaters just in case the signal loses power due to long-distance traveling. My wooden train should be automated. It should run at 4 inches per second, keep a minimum distance of 30 seconds away from the other wooden trains, and make a 17-second-long stop every 500 seconds.
What's the procedure to connect the components?
What's the Arduino code (C++) for this project?

Assume you are constructing a machine to automatically count copper pennies as they travel
down a chute, and you are going to use an inductive proximity sensor has a specified range of
6 mm. In order to detect copper which has a derating factor of 0.3, what is its range of this
sensor you would need for this job?
(b)
Let's say you found a senor in stock that has a sensing range of 15 mm. If you use this to
sense the copper pennies, what is the distance that you would need to mount it near the
chute so that the pennies will pass within that distance between the face of the sensor.
