[SHORTENED TITLE UP TO 50 CHARACTERS] 1 Course Project phase two Zachary Trotter 4/20/2023 CIS 101  Hard drive(s) : o For hard drives I’ve chosen to go with 4x 1TB Samsung 990 Pro as the motherboard I’ve chosen is compatible with up to 4 M.2 hard drives I feel its best to utilize them. Running at around 99.99 per stick the price is a huge selling point. I’m also a tend to stick to brands I’ve had good luck with, and Samsung is usually known for making a good product along with a 5 year warranty. Also, from reviews they tend to run cooler than comparable M.2’s which would help off set the CPU I’ve chosen that tend to run hot.  Graphics Card : o I’ve have just recently updated my Graphics card to the Nvidia RTX 3060-TI From the Nvidia RTX 1060 last year. I needed more performance to run newer 4k games. With 8GB of memory and 4864 cores with 1 HDMI 2.1 sold and 3 Display ports attached. I chose a card with so many display ports because normally I run two monitors at all times but during projects at time I run 3 or 4 depending on what I’m doing and if it needs its own screen or not. At the time of the purchase the 3060-ti was the best bang for your buck the 40 series had just been released so prices had dropped so I picked it up for about 500 dollars. Now if price was not a factor I would go with the 4090 hands down. in bench mark test the 4090 blows my card out of the water with the benchmarking coming it at 370% above average the 4090 is the top of the leader boards on user benchmark but at a price of 1600 dollars it’s a bit to steep for the games I play and the projects I work on. The 3060 will carry me for the next several years before it
