Practicum 3E – Formative task
SMART goal – Create one SMART goal that is aligned with one of the 26 focus areas required for this unit. Your goal must be:
specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-phased (i.e. achievable within the timeframe of your placement) (SMART)
outline what you are going to work on in your upcoming professional experience placement
clearly align with your reflection.
Evidence
(not included in the word count) – What will you collect as evidence during your placement to show that you have met your SMART goal? E.g. ‘S’ being specific: Build on gaining each child’s individual trust by spending quality time with them daily.
Annotation
– Write two sentences as annotation, providing the context and bridging the goal and reflection.
Reflection
– Considering the role of the APST in helping you to set goals, reflect on the role of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers in identifying professional learning needs. The reflection must:
