A1. I want to teach a third through fifth-grade class in a suburb of Virginia with ten pupils. Three pupils in the class are from lower socioeconomic status, and the majority of the students in the class have IEPs. During circle time, there will be a tale read aloud, and then there will be literacy center time. Circle time immediately follows the morning well. The three reading centers are writing sight words on worksheets tailored to each student, playing a game of matching uppercase and lowercase letters and using sight word boom cards on laptops. A2. I'm dedicated to creating a welcoming, secure, and effective learning environment in my classroom. I think that the best ways to address the needs of my pupils are to be a good listener, establish clear limits, serve as a positive role model, and lead by example. In addition to group sharing, I intend to work one-on-one with each of my students. interacting with each student in a calm, empathetic, and patient manner while enquiring about their life outside of the classroom. I think your class will be far more cohesive and active if you take the time and make the effort to get to know each of your students. Every student in my class with an IEP or special accommodations will be aware of me and have a plan of action. Additionally, I will encourage and support every student in my class and divide them into small groups based on learning preferences rather than academic aptitude. Finally, if any student needs more assistance, I will try to be as accessible as possible. A3. - An Engaging Classroom - A Positive Classroom Environment - A Safe Classroom
A4. The morning group will meet on the rug of the middle school classroom, where the pupils can easily view the smartboard. On the upper left corner of the rug, next to my rocking chair, I would be seated. At the end of the two-kidney period, the literacy centers would open on either side of the room. There will be five pupils in each group, and the paraprofessional will sit at one table while I am at another. Each kidney table has a bookshelf with the literacy centers next to it. A4a. If a student finds the classroom layout to be distracting and disruptive, I can see it being changed. I would also move the morning group rug to the back of the room and use the moveable smartboard to the back of the room. I would move the kidney tables to the front of the room and the circle rug and smart board to the back of the room. Also, I would remove the group placement signs completely. The activity we will do is small group story time. We will work in groups of two students per group. The students will read in turns with a reading comprehension worksheet that has a short story and multiple questions at the end. The students will rotate with breaks in between switching within groups. A5. After getting our breakfast and putting our belongings in our lockers, one of our routines will be to set up our desks with the items we'll need for the day, including our laptops and speaking devices, and then take a seat on the rugs for the morning group. There will be two groups for the subsequent portion of the exercise. The groupings will be shown on the smart board and the wall on the kidney tables. For the literacy center group, each kid will be able to bring their bin to the table. Next, we will also have parallel teaching stations between myself and the paraprofessional in the classroom. The students will in the stations be 2:1 ratio; two students and one teacher at the two different kidney tables used in the previous routine. The teachers will call certain students to the table and work with them on math & reading. While the rest of the
students will be on a break until they are called into their assigned groups at the assigned desk in the middle of the classroom. A5a. These classroom routines and processes will be thoroughly presented from the first day of school to the end of the semester. Every day, I will remind the children to "put their belongings away and bring the folders with their daily assignments to me." I want them to have a set on the rug after this is finished so we can begin the morning routine. When this is done, I will additionally address them "When I say go, we'll move to our designated group tables, grab our work bins, and get to work." A6. 1. Treat yourself, your classmates, & your teachers with respect. 2. Follow all the directions promptly. 3. In our classroom we are a dream team. A6a. Respect for oneself and others ties in well with the classroom norms, which are the behaviors we want to see in our classrooms. simple chores like being polite to a classmate or paying attention to the teacher. It can be advantageous to follow instructions quickly if they are offered. Finally, we interact with one another in my class by being dream team members. This creates a setting where each child feels welcomed. We work together to develop our thoughts, making us the dream team. A6b. The rules will be reiterated each day during the morning meeting and put in poster form on the wall. For the first two weeks, we will spend a lot of time discussing examples so that the students may comprehend what they must perform. A7. Dojo points on the computer will serve as one effective reinforcement. A token board economy, in which each student collects five tokens throughout each allocated time and gets to choose their break, will also serve as another kind of positive reinforcement.

In my class, we shall meet, talk, and decide on punishment when a consequence necessitates taking an off day. I would like to display the students' opinions on the outcomes. 1. Warning 2. Shorten Break 3. Note Home 4. Call Home 5. Loss of Privileges for A Day & Call Home A8. All students will contribute to planning and implementing fresh concepts in the classroom. The first is aiding in the development of encouraging reinforcements and concepts for various rules. We shall hold one another accountable for both good and negative behavior in the classroom. You should be able to tell everyone about a friend who is doing something amazing. This, in my opinion, will foster a happy and active classroom environment.
