Create a study schedule and stick to it. Seek tutoring or academic support from the school if needed. Developing a great relationship with my instructors and peers. Attend career and job fairs and networking events in my area to learn more about the field and connect with professionals. Participate in volunteer opportunities or internships to gain experience. Connect with other Medial Office Assistants to learn more about the field to get advice, and hands on experience. Part #3 - Develop three (3) short-term SMART goals that could lead to achieving your long-term SMART goal. Develop two (2) weekly goals and one (1) monthly goal. Weekly Goals: Attend all classes and complete all assignments on time. Spend at least 2-3 hours each work studying and reviewing course material. Monthly Goals: Attend at least one networking event or career far to learn more about the Medical Office Assistant field and connect with professionals. Specific Measurable Achieveable Relevant Time-Bound
Part #4: Reflect, in 100 words or more, on how you used the SMART model in your short-term and long-term goals. The SMART model can help you prioritize your goals and focus on what is important. By making sure that your goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound, you can ensure that you are working towards the goals that will have a greatest impact on your life and your future. For example, if you have a long-term goal of becoming a medical office assistant, you may need to prioritize your short-term goals by focusing on the ones that will help you gain the necessary skills and experience. By using the SMART model to set goals that are achievable and relevant to your long-term objectives, you can stay motivated and focus on what is most important. Ultimately, the SMART model is a powerful tool for setting and achieving goals, and it can help you to take control of your future and achieve the success you desire.
