A. Internal Email Notification To: All Morrison Inc. Employees From: Melissa Morrison, Project & Operations Manager Subject: Kamelon Acquisition Dear Morrison Inc. Employees, As many of you know our company has been working on acquiring a new company to expand our current services. I am happy to announce that we have officially acquired a smaller organization that offers a top-of-the-line weight-loss supplement, Kamelon. By incorporating this product, we hope to increase our revenue and client list. Kamelon has two advantages that will aid in our success: proven success rates and existing loyal customers. The first advantage is the previous company did their due diligence by conducting a study to determine if this product was successful or not. It determined that 90% of participants successfully lost 15 pounds. Another indicator of success is 80% of participants have been able to maintain the weight loss with continued use Kamelon. The second advantage of Kamelon is there is an established loyal customer base to expand existing and future products too. We now have a loyal customer base who will continue purchasing this product, but we can now leverage the testimonials to encourage our customers to purchase Kamelon. With any acquisition there are challenges and risks to be identified swiftly to mitigate further issues. The first identifiable disadvantage to note of Kamelon is customers who may not follow the guidelines correctly thus not achieving the desired weight loss. To mitigate this risk, we will offer customers a 60-day money back guarantee. Offering a refund will provide those customers
with the option to get their money back and may be less likely to leave a negative review. The second disadvantage of Kamelon is the demands of customers are higher than normal and our manufacturing of the pill casing is solely dependent upon Synesthor. To mitigate any risks of production, we will work hand-in-hand with our point of contact at Synesthor, Fatima Sousa. Morrison Inc. will provide accurate and timely predictions to her to ensure the company can keep up with customer demands. We are excited to jump into this new venture and look forward to many more years of success. We appreciate the hard work and dedication you all bring to the organization and cannot wait to see the successful launch of Kamelon. Best, Melissa Morrison Project & Operations Manager B. External Stakeholder Email To: Stakeholders From: Melissa Morrison, Project & Operations Manager Subject: Kamelon Launch Impacts To All Stakeholders, As you all know Morrison Inc. acquired the new weight-loss product, Kamelon during the fourth quarter of 2023. Now that we have had the opportunity to share the news with our internal staff and prepare the organization for the new product, we are happy to announce we will be

launching the product in the beginning of 2024. Launching in the beginning of the year will capture the customer’s new years resolution to lose weight. This product will positively impact our organization with increased revenue and clients. A clinical study was conducted on 100 participants and found that Kamelon if taken correctly, has a proven success in 90% of participants. Of those 90% who chose to continue taking the weight- loss supplement, 80% of them were able to maintain the weight loss. Participants who have found success will not only continue to reorder the product but will recommend it to others resulting in increased sales and clients. Since supply and demand of this product has already amounted to need of 10 million pills within the next three months, our organization will work closely with our manufacturer Synesthor. Fatima Sousa is our representative at Synesthor and will ensure we maintain a strong working relationship with her for continued success. As we launch this new product, we will continue looking for ways to enhance our operations to ensure continued success. We are excited about Kamelon and the benefits it will provide for customers and our organization for years to come. Best, Melissa Morrison Project & Operations Manager

D. Letter to Business Partner Dear Fatima Sousa, I hope this letter finds you and everyone at Synesthor well. We have not had the pleasure of formally meeting yet, but I am Melissa Morrison, Project, and Operations manager with Morrison Inc. We will be working closely with one another to ensure both internal and external needs are met accordingly. Since we have acquired Kamelon, we have noticed our demand has tripled and we are expecting to see an increase of 10 million pills in the next three months to meet quota. This could prove to be a challenge in meeting production needs, and I want to be proactive instead of reactive. We want to have a solid working relationship between Morrison Inc. and Synesthor to have a strong product that is mutually beneficial to all parties. To mitigate the risk of underproduction and missed opportunities, I would like to propose monthly shipments spread over the next three months compared to one bulk shipment. This would relieve any stress on your team and free up storage space within your warehouse to continue with production. If you agree to this idea, we are ready to begin receiving shipments as soon as possible. If you want to propose an alternative solution, we are open to discussing and working together with the same goal in mind. We look forward to hearing from you! 7 E1. Customer Complaint Response Morrison Inc. was made aware of a customer complaint, and we would like to address it. Below is the complaint: “Kamelon does not work! I’ve been using this for a week, and I haven’t lost anything! I’m going on vacation in a couple of weeks, and I was hoping to shed a couple of pounds before I left for my trip. Unfortunately, I do not foresee this happening. No one should buy this product! As a faithful member of several weight-loss groups, I will not recommend this product to anyone in my groups.” Morrison Inc. responds to the complaint here: Hi Sam, Morrison Inc. is saddened to hear that you have not had a great experience with Kamelon. We take all complaints seriously and would like to learn more about your experience and if there is anything we can do to improve it. Some people do not see immediate weight-loss and it may take an additional month before the weight begins to fall off. Please continue taking the supplement for an additional month and contact us if you do not see any changes within the 60-days for a full refund. E2. Private Message Hi Sam, My name is Melissa Morrison, I am the Project and Operations Manager at Morrison Inc. Thank you for being a loyal customer! Best, Melissa Morrison Project & Operations Manager F. Two Potential Biases Biases are prevalent in the workforce and it is up to everyone to do their part in ridding them from the work environment. It is important to be aware of potential biases and know how to overcome them effectively and efficiently. Commonly seen biases within stakeholders are prejudice, discrimination, confirmation bias, and correlative bias. In this paper, we will explore prejudice and discrimination. Prejudice is “an adverse opinion or leaning formed without just grounds or before sufficient knowledge” ( Prejudice, n.d. ). Prejudice can be expressed through ostracism, exclusion, and even verbale abuse or slurs. One way to improve stakeholder engagement would be to hold annual inclusion training amongst all leaders within the organization. Hiring ethnically, culturally, and racially diverse employees would improve stakeholder communication
as well. Encouraging cultural communication and creating a work environment of culture inclusion will help all stakeholders create a better culture. Discrimination is best described as, “the act, practice, or an instance of discriminating categorically rather than individually; the act of making or perceiving a difference” ( Discrimination, n.d. ). To prevent the damaging impact of discrimination, companies should re- evaluate policies, procedures, hiring practices, training procedures, and promotion eligibility to determine if discrimination is present. G. Intercultural Differences Ethnocentrism is a commonly seen intercultural difference that can negatively affect stakeholder communication. This can occur when someone believes their race is superior to anyone else’s. Guffey & Lowey (2018) found, “These knee-jerk ethnocentric judgements can be reduced through knowledge of other cultures and increase intercultural sensitivity.” Companies are often outsourcing work to other countries and to mitigate any issues, employees should take classes to learn about various cultures they may interact with. This will aid in internal and external connections. Stereotyping is a second potential intercultural difference found in stakeholder communication. Whether we want to admit it or not, everyone has subconsciously stereotyped someone at least once in our lives. “Stereotyping is a cognitive mechanism that underlies all aspects of intercultural processes: the way individuals perceive members of other groups shapes their attitudes and behavior toward them, influencing their various types of intercultural interaction and perspectives” (Grigoryev et al., 2021). To mitigate stereotyping is to take a step
