After completing the survey, my perception changed about interpersonal communication regarding how complex the skill of communication and conversation is and insights into my own interpersonal dynamics. There are so many aspects that are involved in the art of communication that I honestly forget that it is something to genuinely work on to succeed in all faucets of life. I do agree with the results, with the first section I do believe I have strong performance in sending clear messages and can convey information in a effective manner. With the second section scoring a 19, a weaker section for me I do agree with the results and there is room for improvement in my listening skills. This just tells me I need to be better at actively listening and than contributing to the conversation. I agree with the score on the third section and think I have a strength in providing and receiving feedback. Lastly, agree that I am overall good at handling emotional interactions and managing emotions in communication. This year one of my goals to work my listening skills. While I like to believe that I have a overall strength of communication my listening skills can be worked on as I think it is as crucial as anything else in regards to communication and plays a role in building stronger connections.
