Introduction:
(How are you going to grab the attention of
the participants?)
Greeting the audience warmly and introduce
myself as the presenter.
Planned techniques to ensure continuing
audience interest:
•
Alternate my pacing
•
Call out individuals in the audience
•
Go off script
•
Start off with something shocking
•
Set up some jokes
•
Skip the data
•
Tell a story
•
And never read a slide.
Outline/Structure of content:
(Add topic headings in a logical sequence
including introduction, key points and a
conclusion
If you start or join a family business, as a family
member you’re likely to benefit from a range of
advantages which you often don’t find in other
enterprises. On the other hand, you may also face
some difficulties that specifically relate to family
businesses.
How will you summarise your presentation?
Before you get the idea that family businesses
benefit only the family members involved, think
again. Successful family businesses are a win/win.
They
benefit
both
the
local
and
global
economies, and in a big way. However how can it
also be true that fewer than 10% survive to the
third generation and less than 10% of owners are
financially independent from their businesses
when they retire? Family firms come with their
own set of unique advantages and challenges. In
order to be successful, the advantages must be
capitalized upon and the challenges overcome.
Who else is involved?
(You will need to brief others on their roles,
e.g. complete the evaluation, set up chairs,
etc.)
I will point few of my friend for answering my
question during the presentation.
How the presentation will be evaluated?

According to how effective the presentation was, overall, there with good communication, and image

presented, and no conclusion at the presentation. To improve the presentation, it needs to be taken
into consideration that more images may need to be presented, more explained videos, after
presentation questions, and conclusions, and creating an overview before commencing the
presentation, cheese sampling to catch the attention of the audience. The feedback discussed by the
audience is taken into consideration, the was fairly positive, although there we many flaws during
the presentation such as lack in the overall and conclusion during presentation.
The seven principles of communication were shown during the presentation, it was noticeable that
the clarity of the content was well explained, it captured the attention of the audience due to the
interesting images shown intriguing person during explanation, the feedback was also well presented
at the end of the presentation using the survey method.
Other than the seven principles of communication, I also tried to practice effective presentation
steps, such as:
Focus on my audience needs with the need to make presentation easy for my audience to
understand and respond.
Keeping the presentation simple by concentrating on my Core message, which is how to
make a healthy workforce environment.
Start strongly because the beginning of my presentation is crucial so I need to grab my
audience’s attention and hold to it.
Show my passions and connect with my audience with being enthusiastic and honest, and
the audience will respond.
Smile and make eye contact with my audience because my audience needs to see me as well
as my slides.
