Interviewe e My instructor has been able to bring on board several techniques in the virtual setting, including the use of online discussion episodes and video lectures. The use of these tools has been pivotal in the development of a real-time class setting. Furthermore, the instructor has encouraged us to use our profile pictures and real names to personalize the virtual learning environment. Interviewe e I believe that the establishment of a strong online presence by an instructor has the opportunity to improve the overall teaching and learning experience. Having a robust online presence can lead to the development of a sense of community. The impact of this is that the overall learning experience can be improved, and increased engagement can be attained. Having a solid online presence as an instructor will, in the future, help the instructors to have an understanding attitude toward the learners. This means that the strong online presence will help teachers become more sensitive to the needs of the learners. Interviewe e In my experience, there are several times when I have been subject to connectivity issues affecting the quality of the instructor's videos, which significantly affects the sense of the instructor's presence . The instructor helped me to easily navigate through these technical challenges, leading to an improved learning experience. Interviewe e Some strategies that I would consider using to maintain instructor presence in my online courses include the use of virtual classes, breakout rooms, and homework help sessions. I can use the virtual classes to demonstrate skills, facilitate discussions, and share information. I can also integrate breakout rooms where students can join and engage in online discussions. Similarly, I could incorporate homework help where students can join virtually at the scheduled time if they need assistance.
