Mar 6 6:11pm Last reply Mar 8 6:50pm In the Interactional Framework, there are three elements present, the leader, the followers, and the situation (Hughes et al., 2022). Under this framework, various leadership scenarios can be examined under each of these levels to determine the effectiveness of the leader (Hughes et al., 2022). The figure of the Interactional Framework is similar to that of a Venn Diagram. With this in mind, it shows us that each of the three elements of the Interactional Framework interact in the areas that overlap (Hughes et al., 2022). In looking at the concept of the framework, this can tell us why a particular leader may not be as effective in all situations with all groups of followers. The leaders, followers, and the situation all effect each other. You must first examine all three of these elements separately to then examine them together (Hughes et al., 2022). There is a small section of the figure where all three of the elements overlap together. This is basically the "perfect" scenario. All three elements are working together and help create the best outcome. On the other hand, when the leader is put into a different scenario, it may not play out like the previous one because of new factors that were not present in the past scenario. Or if it is the same scenario, but a different group of follower, then the followers may not respond to the leader as well as a different group of followers would. Hughes, R. L., Ginnett, R.
