Products, services and customer base Toyota’s main products and services are in the automotive space, but it also involved in the technology sector The main focus of Toyota is to create an efficient production of many different models and types of cars. The main audience in terms of Toyota demographics is younger-to-older middle age consumers, In the 30 to 50 years bracket(Start.io). Toyota’s main geographical market is housed in its home country of Japan as well as the vast market it has in North America.
Renovo Acquisition Acquisition of Renovo was to add to as well as help develop its technology in vehicles that Toyota manufactures. “Renovo will bolster Woven Plant’s elite team with top- tier engineers who have deep expertise in building a complete software defined vehicle infrastructure stack,”(Roberts). This will help Toyota to create the most programable vehicles and technology in today’s world which can help advancement in the future.

Daimelr’s Mitsubishi Fuso and Toyota’sHino Motors Toyota has Merged with Mitsubishi in an effort to help in the advancement of hydrogen fuel and autonomous technology in their vehciles. "This close collaboration will enable us to accelerate the decarbonization of the transportation industry, creating an even stronger Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer," said Karl Deppen (Fisher). This merger will help them to step into the same market as companies such as Tesla and grow their stance in this space.
5 Year Prediction I believe that Toyota is trying to advance its production in the environmental as well as technological sectors. Toyota has always been very big when it comes to the cars and technology that they have put out. Years ago, they were on the cutting edge of being environmentally friendly when they came out with the Prius. However, as time has come and gone, they have been thrown to the wayside by newer and flashy companies such as Tesla. I believe that they are gearing up to develop and release a whole new brand or type of car that will keep them competitive in today’s progressive world.
