Our 61,000 square foot facility allows us to offer our customer base an expanded range of injection molding equipment, with presses ranging in tonnage from 28 to 2500 ton, along with new automation equipment to handle extended run or touch sensitive requirements. POSITION SUMMARY The Shipping/logistics Coordinator role is responsible for performing various administrative tasks such as picking orders, custom documentation, packing slips arranging trucking, communicating with customers. Ensuring our customers are supplied with required products in a timely fashion. The Shipping Coordinator role is responsible for administrative duties including production and maintenance of shippers and customs paperwork, product and shipping labels, and assisting with product inventory. Key to the success of this position is the ability to achieve a high level of accuracy and a timely flow of paperwork as well as an ability to work closely with internal and external customers. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Pick and Pack orders daily Prepare shipping paperwork for all outgoing shipments Scan all signed shippers to accounting department in a timely manner Maintains and update all documents related shipping/receiving including bill of lading and customs documents Perform other duties as assigned Help maintain weekly inventory counts. Retrieve records as requested in resolving invoice discrepancies and related problems. Effectively apply organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload, to problem solve and to adapt to interruptions and change Sound knowledge of logistics processes and documentation requirements; Ability to coordinate accurately daily activity between the origination locations and the freight companies including UPS and FedEx to ensure the goods are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner; Exceptional customer service focus and support to clientele; Attention to detail and thorough, accurate transaction records; Ability to identify/manage risks and opportunities during the logistics process in order to ensure optimum results; POSITION REQUIREMENTS Successful completion of a High School diploma. My examples that are relevant to the job responsibilities: I had this opportunity of picking and packing orders when I was working for a start-up organization named Qutak Security Devices in India. I was responsible to prepare paperworks accordingly followed by maintaining and updating them in the system. Multi-tasking other assigned duties and tasks. Since working at Purolator here in Canada, I have knowledge about logistics processes. I have experience coordinating with freight companies when I was working for that Company in India. In India, When I was working for Qutak Security Devices which Is an B2B business, Our customers were other businesses and we were responsible to provide an excellent service and support in order to maintain relationship with them.
