2 My level of career readiness has advanced as a result of taking this course by teaching me how to write a professional resume, how to write a speech and deliver it in a professional and rememberable way, how to prepare myself when doing interviews, how to always be professional at the workplace, and how to answer interview questions in a professional manner and rememberable way. Also, teaching me how to communicate professionally, by providing me with valuable knowledge and skills such as self-assessment, goal setting, job search strategies, and has enhanced my understanding of career pathways and helped me develop a more strategic approach to achieving my professional goals. This education has helped me better understand my career goals and how to pursue them effectively by equipping myself with essential knowledge about career planning. How I will successfully articulate my skills in future jobs, interviews, and other opportunities is by communicating clearly, identifying, and understanding my strengths, weaknesses, and area of expertise, practice for interviews, show my commitment and willingness to continuous learn, be confident and tailor my resume to job listings. My three career goals I have for my immediate future are first, to do a great interview to get the job at a hospital or physician’s office. Second, after getting experience in different areas of coding, I want to get a few certifications in those areas in case I would want to become a manager. Third, I want to eventually work from home if I decide not to become a manager.

3 I will pursue these goals by working hard, learning from co-workers, working hard, learning everything I can, being professional at all times, and apply to take a few exams to get certification in areas in case I ever want to become manager. What I need to improve on My Cred portfolio is by adding more of my projects that I have completed and adding to my goals. For my elevator speech I need to improve on not being so nervous and shy when giving my speech and always be professional. For my resume what I need to improve on is the layout and design so it will look more professional. The steps I will take to build My Cred portfolio is first, I want to learn more about MyCred so I will understand it better, Second, make sure I’m doing everything right on it. Third, make sure I’m adding my projects on there the right way. Also, I want to make sure my outcomes are the right ones for my projects and make sure the outcomes are showing. If they are able too. I also want to add all my projects to my cred portfolio.
