started a movement. In the city government, progressive reformers have successfully fought impunity.
When their preferred leaders started taking over state governments, progressive reformers succeeded in

Different professions were introduced during the progressive era. This period saw the introduction of
the professions of medicine, social work, and special education. To distinguish between those who are

What made the cause to eliminate alcohol from American society that culminated with
Prohibition Progressive?
-
It became more popular during progressive eras. The 80th Amendment outlawed the manufacture, sale,
and distribution of alcoholic beverages. The Progressive Era prioritized making America a livable
society where social vices were deplorable. The Temperance movement, which got its start in the 1830s,
was in favor of Prohibition. During progressive eras when social issues like drunkenness and poverty
were in the public eye, the movement became more active. The movement that outlawed the sale and
distribution of alcohol sought to end poverty by arguing that alcohol would cause society to become
more destitute.
