The application of Zechariah peaks upon the military aspects and judicial aspects which
are key components within the messianic prophecies yet with God standing in the gap for his
people not the Messiah at this period in time. The messiah is foretold to come to restore
leadership and spirituality. This commentary helps bring the prophetic message in with modern
text.
This passage helps the reader to understand how to incorporate the ancient message into a
more contemporary meaning for today.
