Reflection: Academic Path Lauren Bright The College of Humanities and Social Science/Grand Canyon University UNV 103: University Success Instructor Keith Rogers June 1, 2024 1
The Highway to Grand Canyon University Note that not all essays will have section headings or sub section headings in them. However, they are good to incorporate in the essay. I want to see section headings. Each question asked in the assignment instruction serves as a section heading. Paraphrase the question/put in your own words for the section heading. Read your template! They help to make sure that you discuss in your essay what is asked in the assignment directions in the essay. All section headings are centered. The essay title is needed on both the title page and at the beginning of the essay as you see at the top of this page. Look at how I have indented my paragraph above. This is done by hitting the tab key one time. This is very important for all your writing assignments and your papers. We indent our paragraph to show that a new idea is being started. For this first paragraph, give it a heading. You should write about 1 academic integrity violations and 1 code of conduct violations . Also, be sure to provide examples of the 2 identified violations. You will likely need to include in-text citations for the Handbook in this paragraph (Grand Canyon University, 2023). Please try your best with the citations and references if needed. Notice that my end punctuation is placed after the in-text citation. Make sure that your paragraphs include 3-6 sentences. I have again indented my paragraph because I am moving on to the second question. I do this because I know that each of my questions are supposed to be answered in their own paragraph. Each writing assignment contains specific questions that it wants you to answer. For this paragraph, make sure you have a heading. You will define plagiarism (in your own words). Please feel free to incorporate additional information about your understanding of plagiarism in this paragraph as well. One or two sentences will not suffice. 2
